I used to be the same way...maybe my parents "hot sauced" me as a child and I didn't know it.

I guess when you have kids when you adopt or have them naturally, the government needs to send you a list of what's acceptable and what will get you arrested when disciplining your children.

As for hot saucing, I never had it done to me. Jill1228 and me to the list. Direct contact worked for me too. Growing up I was scared not to pull crap because I knew the consequences. Most kids these days know if mom, dad, or guardian try to take charge all they need to do is cry wolf and child protective services comes in to lay blame on the parent.
