Recruitment at UCF was pushed back a week due to hurricane Charley. It will be the week of the 23-30ish.

Hey ladies,
Well I thought I should tell you all. Because of the hurricane and changing of schedules, I could not go through with recruitment. Saturday I had work, Sunday Church, Monday-Wednesday school and work. It just didnt work out. But dont worry, I will still do Spring Rush. It seems though that not many girls are going through this year bc of the hurricane, conflicting schedules (with school and all, since they cannot ask girls to skip classes) So maybe more sororities will go ahead and do spring rush (We shall see).

There is a DG at my work (a teacher) and she was convincing me to continue to do it. And I am just so much more in love with Greek life because of talking to her! I honestly love Greek life and I think all you girls are great, and knowing that I could be a part of something that isnt only college long, but life long! It all sounds so wonderful. I really think that bc of you guys here makes me still want to do recruitment and not give up! Thanks for the encouragement, advice and help!!

If you're getting back into it now though.....maybe check out any COB parties that chapters might be having throughout the semester!

How do I find out about COB parties? I thought that was only after recruitment for people who went through recruitment...Am I completely wrong? (lol)

Contact your Greek Life office. Any woman can attend COB parties even if they didn't go through recruitment. Its another way to recruit women who can't go through the formal aspect of recruitment! It might totally work out for you!!!
