I could see Otto struggling with these issues, but I think the best choice for lots of good follow-up episodes would be either Rod or Tod Flanders.

Even though I know some said that it probably won't be a kid, I forgot all about MARTIN! He is always skipping around singing and doing stuff that gets him beat up alot.

But there's no telling. Watch it be someone totally out the blue, like Fat Tony or someone.

I think it will be someone we least expect, but they won't get married.

Maybe it's the guy who works with Apu?

Since the episode focuses around gay marriage, I don't think it's going to be a kid.

Oh god, I hope they don't do that. If they put so much hype around this episode and it turns out it Smithers, fans are going to be pissed. If that's the case, they should just make it the series finale.

Lenny & Carl b/c there was that episode when Arty Ziff makes Homer think that Marge wants him so Homer & Lenny escape to work the oil rigs. When the rig is burning & Lenny won't get into the helicopter saying,"There's nothing in that helicopter for me" & Carl pokes his head out saying, "I wouldn't be too sure of that." It has to be these 2.

I'm sure it's going to be Smithers. My husband pointed out that while *we* know Smithers is gay, *Springfield* doesn't know that Smithers is gay.

Besides, he deserves to find someone to make him happy. Burns ain't gonna do it, y'know. And I can't see Smithers being the one proposing...
