great pictures of ZL!! I have one almost identical without all the flashy boarder. :)
|
Yeah, I just took that one off the chapter website. :p
So, today I was driving around downtown Austin, and I found the ADPi house! So, I took a pic of it. The house is so much prettier in person. I want to go see the inside of it sometime. I loved the area... it makes me wish I could have experienced greek life at UT! It's so different from my school. :) http://www.geocities.com/linzb03/dsc003832.jpg ETA: AHHHH!! It worked when I previewed it, I swear! I'll try and fix it. |
Ok, well it's a really pretty house. Sorry.

Alpha Delta Pi Houses
Thought it would be fun to check out all of the different chapter houses. I do not know how to post pictures but here is the link for Gamma Upsilon!

the house looks way better in real life! i wish we had a real picture other than the computer generated one
i also think it would be way cool to have a published book with all the houses of each chapter. lambda chi has one.. and it's so awesome to see all the different houses :) |
Pardon the crash, but here's the ADPi house at Indiana. It was opened in 1993-1994, I think. I've never been in it but the outside is gorgeous. :)

Ok, i searched and searched for a picture of the Epsilon Epsilon house at Texas Tech. A) They don't have a chapter website, B) I could've sworn that the Delts use to have a link to pictures of all of the houses on Greek Circle, but apparently they don't have the link anymore, C) I give up on searching, D) I'm ashamed of myself that I don't have a picture of my own chapter's house. I'm sure I have a picture somewhere, but not one that is readily accessible.
eta: even if i did have a picture...the outside doesn't do justice for what the inside of the house looks like! |
Well at Northern Arizona University there are not houses... instead there is the all greek res hall... but it is a neat building... ADPi has a wing on the 4th floor...
Anyways, I thought I would still share pictures of it... and once I get some others scanned I will post one that shows the stain glass hanging in the chapter room window... http://www4.nau.edu/reslife/reslife/...ew/MTVIEW1.jpg http://www4.nau.edu/reslife/reslife/...ew/MTVIEW2.jpg The building sits on top of a hill and looks like a ski lodge when it snows... |
WOW! Check out Nationals website for some of our houses throughout the country.

  @ Eta Pi.... I'm kinda shocked that they don't have pics of all of the houses. Maybe that is something they are "working on" with the new website. |
LOL - I passed the photo of Northwestern to mr. honeychile, telling him that he IS to find that house, and we WILL go see it when I'm in Chicago!
My mother just gave the Indiana house 2 thumbs up! |
I too find it surprising that they don't have ALL the house pictures. I mean it only took OVER A YEAR for the website to get up and running.
Here is a link to the U of A, Delta Gamma chapter, house. The house isn't anything spectacular on the outside (it was built in the 50's) but it is GORGEOUS on the inside. They (the alumnae association and probably ADPi in general) have done an amazing job and it is beautiful!!!!! http://www.union.arizona.edu/csil/gr...view.php?id=25 |
I wish we were allowed to have houses.... stupid Coral Gables restrictions! :(
