Meanwhile, I hope that the rest of the team comes to play for the rest of this series. You saw that Shaq, the megacentre, is the XXX factor and the Wallaces can't do s*** against him. But the other members of the Lakers must step up their game. |
Whoop! There it is. Pistons in the house.
Bad Boys 2 in effect. We aint never scared! :p |
Somebody say it with me....
DETROITTTTTTTTTTTT BASKETBALLLLLLL!!!!! :D :D :D :p

Detroit is good and is putting some serious "D-fense" on the Lakers' azz, but IMO, LA is crumbling from the inside out. At least we can end all the asinine Kobe/MJ comparisons now. MJ learned how and when to sublimate his ego for the good of the team. Kobe clearly doesn't.
Shaq, with his heavy, out-of-shape, hooked-on-phonics free-throw shootin' self, is STILL the game's biggest force-- you saw that in the 1st quarter of G4, when he was ganstering baskets like he was Al Capone. Detroit has NO ANSWER, NONE. Why this team, KB, in particular doesn't realize that and consistently feed the guy is beyond me. It looks like LA will fumble away this title, and Detroit is there to fall on the ball. Enjoy it D-town, and let's see if you can back it up next year. But Shaq-KB's lil season-long cat-fight destroyed this team long before Detroit had anytyhing to do with it. (as for abaici and 1savvydiva, yall is doing some major-league hating right up in through here.....please stop.) |

Beware, more Kobe bashing ahead... Kobe's selfishness has always been an issue. At least for the past three-four years. I mean, his quest for a record (the 30-pint games) cost the Lakers a place in the Finals last year. I mean, he's always making comments in the press. He's a little punk! Kobe has problems following and passing the ball. The Lakers didn't have a chance because he realized too late (and still did it inconsistently) that he needed to pass the ball. But, then again, he's the only one who consistently makes shots. So, here I feel his pain a little bit. The Lakers have to pray that George, Fox, Fish, or *insert player here* shows up! Gooooo Pistons! The Pistons are the true KobeStoppers (sorry Patterson). |

The Lakers think they are the isht (and many of their fans are obnoxious--I'll bet they were planning their victory celebration after the Lakers' Game 2 win  )...that's what will cost them in the end... And I'm not hatin'...just being honest :) ETA: Steeltrap, no you're not included in the "obnoxious Lakers Fans (i.e. many of whom are old Bulls fans from the MJ Era) category". |

I'm just enjoying every minute of it. can't wait for the finale tomorrow night. :D |
Will Phil retire? Or will he get "tha boot". I loves me some Phil Jackson. ( I think he has some of "us" in him :o)
Will Kobe leave? Who will have him? or will he be in jail? Dennis Rodman predicted that he will not get a conviction and will pay damages from a civil suit. Will Gary and Karl retire? If the Pistons win; it must be meant for these to to NOT have championship rings...THEREFORE, SYTNRHADS....B! :p :D |
