Yeah she said it in Marie Claire but In Touch quoted her interview.
I think the problem is is that all these singers somehow "assume" that they will be good actors. Just because you can sing doesn't mean you can act. Off the top of my head, J. Lo is the only one I can think of that is singing and acting but she was an actress before a singer and I personally don't think she's that great of a singer in the first place. |
I saw the movie and really liked it. The thing about Jessica Simpson that bugged me the most was her accent. She over-exaggerated the accent. It seemed like she was trying to hide her Texas accent, and tried to hard.
I think Sean William Scott did a great job. If Johnny Knoxville played that part it would have sucked. Willie Nelson is hardly in there, and all he seems to do is tell jokes. |

I want to see the movie in a way. I don't hate Jessica, but I don't love her either. |
I think Homer and Marge should be very proud of Jessica.

I saw the movie this weekend, and I have to say that I think a lot of the reviews were unfairly harsh.
Yes, it is "dumb humor," but you know what, I don't always need to be intellectually enlightened every time I go to the movies. Sometimes it's nice just to be entertained. You are lying to yourself if you can't admit that car chases and watching stuff blow up is fun. ;) Without giving anything away, let me just say that Johnny Knoxville's previous job experience served him well here. I also thought that the movie did a great job dealing with the "politically incorrect" aspects...i.e., the big Confederate flag on a car named "General Lee." They couldn't really change any of that, but they had fun with the clash with modern culture. Bottom line, this film isn't going to win any Oscars. You will not learn a darn thing watching this movie. But it is very very funny, and my job is as depressing as hell lately, so that's enough for me. |

And they say Hollywood is running out of ideas."- Chris Vognar, DALLAS MORNING NEWS "Heck, suck the exhaust fumes from a 1969 orange Dodge Charger. But whatever you do, no matter how big a fan you were of the show, do yourself a favor by skipping the movie." - Phil Villarreal, ARIZONA DAILY STAR |

When I was 14 (about 10 years ago) I went to a summer church camp, and Jessica was one of the nightly entertainments (they had a different christian band/performer each night) and she was all about how she was so into God, and waiting for marriage to have sex and blah blah blah:rolleyes: Nobody really knew who she was back then. Then she turns to the secular world (hello money!) and turns into a total tramp. Daisy Duke? Dumb Blonde? Newly Weds? Wait till Marriage and oops I may be getting divorced? I'm not impressed with her, she's right up there on the skank chart with britney and christina if you ask me. |
