That's like saying "You can't really use an airplane for transportation - flying, maybe, but that's it."

To REALLY make it work, it's gotta be in Arabic... That is when the Homeland Gestapo really gets their panties in a bunch. ;) :) :D

I don't like guns and I will never own one. I won't ever have one in my home either.
No one in my immediate family has ever used a gun. Nor does anyone hunt.

I have a 7mm rifle, 20 gauge single shot, 12 gauge pump and a 9mm. I've been around guns my whole life. I got my first gun when I was 7 or 8 years old. I got my first shotgun when I was 10, the 20 gauge single shot.

I don't think I can write that in Arabic, Chuck. That's a lot of pressure. :(

I would never ever own a gun and even if I wanted to there is a lot of red tape to go through in Canada to own one...

Used to have my FAC (Fire Arms Certificate) up here in Canada and a FN-FAL rebarelled to fire .22 single shot (target practice)... but I let it slip after I left the military, and I donated my rifle to a cadet corp near my cottage when I moved back to the city.

I really don't see a need to own a weapon here in the city (plus no real ranges to use it on)... however UofT still has a range for .22 short rimfires in the basement of Hart House (sort of a student centre) for the Rifle & Pistol club - but you have to use the equipment at the range, no personal firearms.... their was a "problem" a couple of years ago with a grad student (a wee bit to gun happy).

My family owns guns, so I don't mind them. Majority aren't even allowed to be shot w/in the state anyway :( My dad is getting me a ladies handgun and I'm getting my concealed weapon license soon, ah well.
