This would be accurate except that not all Doctors and Lawyers list their ethnicity. That is, the are many Black men in these professions who are not part of any professional organizations that track race.
For example, not all Black engineers are in NSBE, so how would anybody know exactly how many Black engineers are in the US?
The same goes for the Bar. How can anybody track to total number of Black Medical Doctors, in there is nowhere in the process that your ethnicity has to be revealed? |
