My favorite are Elmer's Goldbrick eggs and Heavenly Hash eggs. You can only get them in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area (afaik at least, maybe other parts of LA get them). Their website is www.elmercandy.com
The Goldbrick egg is solid chocolate with pecan pieces in it. It's about 3 inches long and about 2 inches thick, solid chocolate. It's heaven. The Heavenly Hash egg is about 5 inches long, a chocolate shell filled with marshmallow and almonds. In my family, its not easter without these two things. Everything else is just yankee crap! |

Oh thank God ia m not the only 35 yr old who looks forward to easter for the reeses peanut butter cup eggs. Doubly blessed this yr my bday is easter weekend so i my get more reeses :) those and the cadbury cream choc egg as well as Jelly Bellies and peeps! |
Oh man...Cadbury Cream eggs... I thought it was bad enough, seeing them in all the stores, until I went to London. They have them in vending machines in the subway!!! So you're just standing there, waiting for your train to come, and they're there beside you, taunting you...yeah I took advantage of those machines a couple of times. :D

Oh, to have a Reese's Peanut Butter Egg right now! :)

I hate Peeps, so the Peeps research site is one of my guilty pleasures. I seem to be the only one who absolutely loves those lil round nestle crunch-type candies that come in the foil wrappers (some look like coins, and some have easter designs on the wrapers). I can't eat peanut butter eggs anymore, and I don't like anything with filling (unless it's a Lindt dark chocolate ball thingy). Call me weird, but I just love plain chocolate with rice krispie things in them. I also absolutely love red jellybellys.

PEEPS are #1 with me!!! Yum, pure sugar! :D
I also love those little pastel shelled chocolate Cadbury eggs. I like the Cream Eggs too! |
Peeps
Cadbury Caramel Eggs (I don't like the cream eggs but the caramel filled ones are awesome!) Reese's I have managed to avoid them all so far this year but my ex wants me to do the Easter shopping for the kids so I guess I have to go down that aisle at Walgreen's. Hopefully the Reese's eggs will be GONE. Dee |
i can't have any easter candy... damn atkins diet

I'm really not into the whole standard candy thing. While I'll cave in for a Reese's once in a while, it's usually not my thing.
However, when it comes to Easter I have a thing for marzipan (the almond paste shaped into the little fruits and stuff) and black jelly beans. So for all you black jelly bean haters out there, please send them to me, where they will be loved, cherished, and devoured. |
I can't stand peeps. They are totally nasty. I like the skinny chocolate covered marshmallow bunnies though. They are about half an inch across and 4 inches long. The short fat ones at the check-out counter just won't cut it :)
I will also accept any orphan licorice jellybeans that need a good home. I LOVE them! |

My mom still hides eggs for me at her house! The best kind, I think, are the chocolate marshmallow ones from Russell Stover's. I also like the Cadbury cream eggs.
Think I'll just wait until after Easter to go back to Weight Watchers!;) |
