I used this on my grandfather's program when he passed away. It does bring me some comfort and I hope that you can find some too. Keeping you in my thoughts.

I'm sorry about the loss of your grandfather. I lost my grandfather just a little over 3 years ago, so I know how you feel about so many emotions at a time like this. I'll definitely be in prayer for your family.

Thanks to everyone who responded in this thread and through PM's. I really appreciate it all.

The wake and funeral was today. It was hard at first, but then I met some family and old friends and we were able to reminisce a bit and make a positive experience out of it. I did not go to the cemetary, and I am skipping the repast....I deal with grief a little better by myself, so I'll just be reflecting a bit for the rest of the day.

He was a good guy and will be missed.

I am sooo deeply sorry for yoru loss. I lost my grand dad a yr ago on March 30 from a long battle with Parkinsons. You are definitely in my prayers you, your mom ,and grandma. May God bless and watch over you all in this time. If this may be of comfort.......believe me it helps me when i think of grandpa he is in a far better place and free from pain and illness.
