WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hollywood Power couple Tom Cruise (news) and Penelope Cruz (news) have ended their relationship after three years but remain "good friends" and are not dating anyone else, People magazine reported on Friday.

"They broke up at the end of January and it's amicable," Cruise's sister and publicist Lee Anne DeVette told the magazine.

Cruise, 41, met Cruz in 2000 when they were filming "Vanilla Sky" and began dating in 2001 after his decade-long marriage to Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman (news) crumbled.

Robert Garlock, spokesman for the 29-year-old Cruz, said neither star is dating anyone else.

"They remain good friends and still talk often," he told People. "There is no other person involved."

"The relationship just ran its course and they decided not to be girlfriend and boyfriend anymore," a source close to the couple told the magazine. "Through most of the relationship they were both shooting movies in separate part of the world."

Cruise is currently in pre-production on a third "Mission: Impossible" film while Cruz is in Morocco filming the action movie "Sahara."

UKDaisy claps at the fact that Cruise and Cruz are no longer.

It just seemed shady......
