well the scents the I like the most but haven't restocked my shelves as of yet are:
Victoria Secrets: Love Spell Whispering Mist I'm trying to venture out in the scents that I wear but I have to be extremely cautious because I have extremely sensitivity skin and I can't tolerate certain smells. |
Although the spellings varied a little bit... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif...I can't believe I didn't think to put Issey Miyake on the list!
Because I want to own my own clothing store I mainly work retail jobs. I was fortunate to work in the Fine Fragrance Department at one point. I think I wore every scent at least once! More of my fav's: Jivago 24k by Ilana Jivago Romance by Ralph Lauren (I was so MAD when all the publicity started. No one was wearing it when I bought the bottle!!!!!) Opium by Yves St. Laurent Angel by Terry Mugler |

It has a wonderful smell... My mother bought the perfume because it came with a white bear with pink trimmings that she knew I would like - I just happened to like the perfume also. In any case, I am a 5th Avenue girl at night and in winter. During the spring and summer I lean toward DKNY and Polo Sport for Women... Has anyone else come across Pure by Alfred Sung? I think it smells great...although it smells a lot like another one in the family of Estee Lauder.... [This message has been edited by SophysticatedMe (edited June 02, 2001).] |

1) Issye Miyake's L'Eau D'Issye
2) Butterfly by Hanae Morae (sp?) 3) Romance by Ralph Lauren ------------------ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Only passions, great passions can elevate the soul to do great things" --Diderot ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
This topic is so goood, cuz its opening me up to a lot more perfumes that I hadn't heard of. My favorites are:
Shi- Alfred Sung Oxygene - Lavin Boss Woman - Hugo Boss I dont use Calgon, but I needed a quick body spray one day, and I was in Wal-Mart (you find everything at wally world) and I saw these body sprays by a company or group called Simply Basic (SB) and they smell so good, my favorite is Seascape. I have gotten so many compliments off of that body spray, and it was only $6.00 so I am happy!! Note:: I was just thinking and remembered I had a friend who used to buy whatever smelled good on someone else, and unfortunately some smelled like hot trash on her. So I want to remind you ladies, if you can, get a tester from the store and try it for a couple of days before you make mistake!! Good topic...
I was reminded to buy something that I 'borrowed' from an auntie once: Pure - Alfred Sung... My favorites (for the summer at least): Ann - Ann Taylor Happy - Clinique Cristalle - Chanel ------------------ "Unless you know the road you've come down, you cannot know where you are going" ~Temme proverb, Sierre Leone~ [This message has been edited by jazbri (edited June 03, 2001).] |
