HC a vacuum and one of those new disposable toilet scrubbing brushes are on my list, as well as some hangers from WalMart
HC my friends and family will really be buying me these things (and I saw my 24 pack of name brand TP with a bow on it when they got back from CostCo)

hc my darling daughter opened her eyes for me today

hc she is now off of her oxygen and is breathing on her own

hc she is the most beautifuliest creature in the world..yes, beautifuliest

hc i still can't believe with God's help my husband and i created such a person

hc we are so blessed

HC Yesterday after leaving the polls I saw this young man staring at me

HC I didn't recognize him

HC As I was backing out of my parking space he stood right in front of my car

HC It was one of my former students

HC This student has been on my mind for the past two weeks, even though I had him over three years ago

HC When I realized who it was, I jumped out of my car to hug him (leaving my car in the middle of the parking lot)

HC He was extremely troubled and even attempted suicide while at school

HC He was coming from inside of a church where he is involved

HC He was smiling (he never smiled)

HC He had a positive outlook on life


On a more superficial note...

HC The young buck in my classes was in my group today

HC Someone asked how old everyone is

HC When I said how old I was, his eyes popped out of his head!

HC He thought I was much younger

HC I felt like I was tearing up because I set my alarm for 6:15 to call and speak to the nurses I work with and tell them it was nice working with them?

...if you're arrested at 2:15 a.m. on DUI and on police videotape at 3:50 a.m. in the police station you STILL can't find your nose with your finger 3x in a row, that's a pretty good sign that you was on tilt?
...there were like 6 other facts that pointed to his incapacity that I won't list here due to space?
...people made all kinda excuses?
...I found out that the "non-melanin" population dislikes the po-po as much as some of us do?

...I prayed last night that I wasn't just being stubborn?
...by the end the other jurors congratulated me for sticking with my convictions?
