I loved this show. Why? It's a little more practical and isn't about men and women "hooking" up (for once).

Last night was the first show but they said it will air on Wednesday nights...right?!?!

MeLikey 01-09-2004 10:39 PM

I'm hooked. Sam reminds me of this actor, anyone else think that? And if you did, who, because I can't place him. Tammy was ridiculous. The leader on the women's side got so flustered-- don't really like her either.

CutiePie2000 01-10-2004 12:28 AM

Okay, I don't live in NYC and I don't have a business degree, but I just don't understand why none of them tried any of these for a location:
-Central Park (hello, thirsty people exercising, cycling and rollerblading!)
-Grand Central Station (zillions of commuters)
-Times Square

And the men should have gone to the gay village and stripped off their shirts to sell their lemonade, because they would have made more money. (Women might be heebed out by shirtless men selling lemonade , but gay men would not).

Cream, you are from NYC, what do you think of these locations?
I would think that they have lots of foot traffic??

Peaches-n-Cream 01-10-2004 01:29 AM

I think it depends on the weather and the time of year. If the weather is hot and sunny, then Central Park is a very busy place. Grand Central is busy year round especially during rush hour 7 to 9 AM and 5 to 7 PM. Since it is indoors, the weather doesn't matter so much. Times Square is busy as are Madison Square Garden and the Javits Center when there are events.

Damn, my opinions have changed since last week.

I thought Tammy was a bitch, and now I think that her attitude/style is what won the competition for her tonight.

I like Omarosa last week, and now I think she is a drama queen. Correct me if I am wrong, but she called Erika racist for using the phrase "pot calling the kettle black."

I still think Sam needs to go, and I almost wonder if he was kept around for entertainment value. I'm sorry, but there was no excuse for falling asleep.

Why did they have to fire the hot one???

SATX*APhi 01-15-2004 11:01 PM

Sam should soooo be fired!! What's up with keeping him around? Not only does he have no chance of getting the job, but he is an @$$ and his face doesn't keep me wanting to watch.

They fired a hot boy. :(

I don't know, but I still like Omorosa. I think both she and Erika both have issues, but Erika blows up. Why is it that she is the only one that has such a huge problem with Omorosa? When Omarosa suggested they draw names to see who would be in charge, Erika began shouting at here. Oh geez.

I think you mean Bowie Hogg.

I like these 2 also, but that's probably cuz they're both Aggies.

Gig 'em Bowie and Amy!

I cannot believe that slithering Sam was not fired. What a coward he is. Seriously, he's one of those types that if someone biffs up, he's first to go kiss the boss's shoes and say "So and So f*cked up" ::insert evil laugh::.

And wtf is up with Omorosa? That girl simply said it was like calling the kettel black and she goes off on a racism attack. She needed a nap cuz she just wasn't thinking (IMO) when she replied like that!

ADPiSAI 01-15-2004 11:24 PM

Ok, I missed it because I'm writing a paper (or pretending to anyway...)
Who did they fire tonight??

MeLikey 01-16-2004 02:46 AM

Trump fired Jason, aka hot boy. Though I don't like Sam, I knew Trump was going to fire Jason simply because his decision is based on who he feels caused the failure of the team. While it is stupid and unprofessional of Sam for falling asleep, it did not directly cause the failure. Jason should have met with the president esp. since the guys thought they should. Next week should be interesting though with Sam as the leader.

i was thinking the same thing. she is just overly sensitive. i cannot stand when people look for racist comments that are not there in everthing people say. has she not heard of the phrase 'pot calling the kettle black?' she got on my nerves for that very reason. for someone that thinks she is so bright, she isnt.

DWAlphaGam 01-16-2004 11:01 AM

Someone pointed out on TWoP that Omorosa's name backwards is almost "ass-o-rama." LOL

I think that the women are going to lose deliberately next week to try to boot Omorosa. She's bringing the morale of the team WAY down. Although I could see the men trying to lose deliberately in order to boot Sam, too.

I'm torn as to who I find more annoying - Omorosa or Sam. Sam would be slightly less annoying if someone gave him some Ritilin, but there isn't anything that's going to change Omorosa's bitchiness. Even if Erika leaves, I think Omorosa may just pick out someone else to fight with.

I agree, DeltaBetaBaby: Trump only kept Sam around to keep the drama going. I think George was pretty annoyed about that, too.

i saw that too! the recap of the first episode was hilarious!

dzfan 01-16-2004 11:08 AM

so bummed they fired the hottie-and that SAM guy needs to get the AXE!!!! He sucks!

PM_Mama00 01-16-2004 11:36 AM

ARGHSF:JSD:FJSK. Sam is such a douche bag. Jason made a mistake, yes. But even if he met with the president, I still think the girls were gona win. Sex sells we all know that. I'm just really disappointed that Jason got fired :( . Him and my sister's real sister are in New York today for the Today Show. I didn't get to catch it.

I know I'm pluggin Jason like no other, but for being as young as he is, he's an awesome businessman and now it just gives him the chance to become successful without the crutch of Donald Frump.

And I'm sure even if Sam was the leader for the next mission, and they fail, he won't get fired. Frump is prolly keeping him there for entertainment. Either that or I think he's a decoy. But regardless, for those guys not being in the advertising occupation, I thought their commercial maybe was a little generic, but really good for someone who isn't trained in that field. As a PR person I give them 4 thumbs up.
