When you work for like 22 hours in two days and should be cleaning your house...but instead you're on GC...and you wonder why you care anymore :rolleyes:

You drive past the Texaco station sign where the only letters still lit are X and O and you think "Hey, look at that - Chi Omega!!"

when you actually try to explain jokes/convos to "real" ppl.....

agdiva: "ok, so cream was going on about--"

boy: "hold up....who the hell is cream???"

agdiva: "she's just....cream.....anyway, she always talks about this baseball guy...."

boy: "talks? you talk to some chick named cream????"

also, when you already know the argument some ppl are going to have over your latest flame-worthy post, so you attempt to get back online to regulate so it doesn't get too out of hand. ;)

You know your on GC way to much when you hope everytime you refresh there is a PM waiting for you! Also to kill time to fall back asleep at 2 am and your on here instead

When you're in a RL conversation, and mention something that someone said on GC and use your fingers as if you're typing...

AH HA! So, our subliminal advertising with Texaco is working! How about the colors cardinal & straw at McDonald's?

Definitely it's using usernames off GC. I do that...my husband will say, "Where'd you learn (insert latest news)?" and I say, "AXO Alum" or "justamom" and then I have to refresh his memory as to who they are in real life.

When you know much more about what's going on with other GCers than you do about members of your own family!

when you check your mail everyday and you have massive amounts of email but they are only massive amounts of GC thread post replies.....

when you are in charge of recruitment and you are frantically worried about where the next PNM on GC is going and have to take a break from recruitment prep to hop online and check....

when you start being invited to all the GC Chat parties every night (hey by the way....have there been any lately??)...

when James starts IMing you just to randomly talk ;)

--you log on GC when you first wake up and it's the last thing you do before you go to bed.

--you reply to any post you can possibly relate to just to up your post count :D

--you can start predicitng who will be the first to reply to something and what they'll say

--you make GreekChat your homepage

--you need advice on something in your life and you start a thread about it in Chit Chat before talking with your real life friends

You feel like you know other GCers just because you've read so many of their posts but you wouldn't know them if you ran into them on the street.

No one invites me either....maybe we'll have to go start our own GC chat party :D

But, back to the topic at hand.....you know you're on GC too much when you're at school and you start wondering about the latest drama to hit the fan :o
