I know they were doing casting calls for the Bachelor/Bachelorette here in San Diego, so maybe they were doing the same all around California and the guys that matched up with her "hand-picked wise" were mainly from California?

I thought Portland was Meredith's hometown, and that she now lives in California.

For some reason this guy reminds me of Evan Marriott with better hair. Maybe its just me.

In checking out the pics of all the guys on the website from ABC, it looks like some have used a little too much self tanner...a la Ryan Seacrest! UGH! Guys with fake bake look silly.

I don't know why she kept the super religious, hunting, horse breeder guy. They are so incredibly NOT compatible. I thought slipper-dude was too slimy, but I like that Robert guy with the goofy hair. He seems fun.

I really wish they would stop picking rejected people and bring a new bachelorette into the mix!

I checked out the first episode and I really don't think very many of the guys are attractive. There were maybe five that I liked - including Marcus and Harold the Hockey Player. :)

I'll probably flip in and just check out the rose ceremonies.

I think by making an "old favorite" one of the Bachelorettes, it will draw more viewers. I like it this way. It's kind of like a soap opera. Sam is a playboy and has tons of girls. He loses Clara and now she is on the prowl, so we watch to find out what she is up to and who she is making out with.

As for using "old favorites," why is Bob the only of the Bachelors? That's no fun.

I was so sad to see Markus go tonight! He seemed genuinely interestered in Meredith!

Come on! Hey he lasted past the first round, which is what the "token" minority always gets...Maybe one day they will have a Bachelor/Bachelorette that is not Causasian... but I'm sure that would not play with the ABC execs...

I was sad to see Damon go (he's the one who was wearing the gray suit with the burgandy shirt and tie ~ I *think* on the tie)...for some reason he reminded me of the guy that the girl on Cupid wound up picking last year (I didn't watch that entire show, but picked up on little things while watching BB4). Plus, he's from this area....need to spend more time in the coastal cities, I guess ;) The local news is going to talk to the San Diego guys on tonight's news, which will include Damon (I'm guessing) and Rick...gonna have to watch that :)
