Well I am glad that someone started this because I have a GDI boyfriend that just doesn't get it.

He went to a very big school with a very large greeklife... but he is very anti-greek.

He doesn't understand any of my alumnae involvement because he only heard about the rough times during my sorority house experience. He doesn't remember that without my sorority sister inviting me to a house party of one of her hs friends that we wouldn't have met.

He calls this "Greek Sh*t". He is very trying sometimes.

Sometimes I don't "get it," either. "Being Greek" can be as full of isht as anything else is, these days. That's neither here, nor there.

But, perhaps you told him more of the bad times than the good times. Or, you just plain told him some things that were none of his GDI business.

Afterall, GDIs will remember the "rough times during your sorority house experience," while you've moved onto experience the good times.

Can we say "over-involvement from a nonmember?"

I guess things are different everywhere I go.

hotdamnway to jump down somebody's throat.

sueali, way to pick a guy who supports what you're interested in! And the collegiate Sigma Kappas must love it.

ChaosDST, go take a nap.

Sueali, your husband and mine should meet. (And probably will someday... if we ever do :p ) Anyways, all of my sister know my husband quite well and he was a great help for recruitment.

Yes, they are. I think every organization does things differently which is why we're not all just a part of a huge, billion person fraternity :)

That would extremely suck.
