Surprisingly, both of the last two products (Instead Cups and The Keeper) were created by women. I was talking to my nana about this, and after she cracked up laughing, she reminded me that since the dawn of time many women either spent their "time w/ aunt Flo" in special shelters, away from everyone else in the community, many cultures viewed (some still do) the visit from "Aunt Flo" (that's just what we call it http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif) as sacred and not at all as a burden like we do now, and that before the invention of the maxi pad, women had to use cloths, like wash cloths, and unless you were white/rich you rinsed them out, and used them throughout the year. interesting...
