I know this may throw off the entire thread but if you're voting in this contest, I'd like for you to vote for my friends Melissa Moyer & Christopher Deetjen.

This really comes down to whether you'd like to help out an Alpha Phi (me) or a Sigma Kappa (Lynn-Stohs couple).

A number of votes for the Collegian's Once in a Lifetime Plans a Wedding will be disqualified, despite reports Monday saying the results were accurate, officials said Wednesday.

The disqualification comes after Christopher Harrop, the Collegian's online editor, realized that more than 3,000 votes were registered between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Suspicious, Harrop said he found out Wednesday morning that people were spoofing Internet protocol (IP) addresses.

"People were using an anonymous service, then registering a vote," Harrop said.

As a result, some computers have counted more than one vote per computer.

Harrop said he has all the disqualified numbers from Monday to noon Wednesday. Now he said he must go back and read last week's vote totals.

And unlike ShopGirl, I actually know the Moyer-Deetjen couple.

Why do things like this have to all come down to stuff like "whether you'd like to help out an Alpha Phi (me) or a Sigma Kappa"

And this might sound really bad, but so what if you personally know the couple and ShopGirl doesn't personally know the couple :rolleyes: Shopgirl just wanted to help out her sister

I voted for shopgirls pic for the same reason, she made the call out first and even though I'm not a Sigma Kappa or a friend of the couple, I love GC ! If MysteryMeat wants to start her own thread I'll be happy to support her, but dude, don't be rude we're all here to support, not slam. They are still part of the same organization and I think it's cool she wants to help a sister she's never met- more power to ya!! :D

Shopgirl, If I get a chance I'll run down to computer lab on my lunch hour and bust out some mega votes for your sister.
