HERE IS ANOTHER ONE, AND APPARENTLY IT NEEDS THE ALL-CAPS EMPHASIS BECAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE AREN'T GETTING IT:

IF SOMEONE DOES NOT REVEAL INFO ABOUT THEMSELVES, IT IS NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS TO PLAY DETECTIVE AND THEN POST INFORMATION THEY DO NOT WANT EVERYONE ON GC TO KNOW.

That's not the point that's trying to be made though. We're not saying that people should snoop around.

But if someone comes on and is posting from a certain chapter at your school and starts dissing your sorority/fraternity, you can probably find out who they are pretty easily by their posting style.

We're advocating not that others play detective, but that people be discreet. It's painfully obvious to anyone acquainted with you who you are when you start posting on GC. You don't want 'internet' stuff to become 'real life' stuff.
