OK, this guy has been my amusement for the day...first the story about GHWB & GWB running around naked with their pins, and then the pic of Michael Moore. Is there any item of clothing or jewelry, any time any where, that has been made to look more attractive by Michael Moore sporting it?? The dude really needs a bath and a man-ziere.

I think our orgs are exactly like the skulls but not nearly on the same level of intensity. We are all "known" about but our chapter meetings codes handshakes etc. are all secret and cannot be revealed to anybody......

The pins probably identify different ranking among bonemen, like officer badges.

I thought both Bush presidents were Dekes. ????
|
They were Dekes but they were also members of Skull & Bones. S & B isn't a Greek org, although many of the members are Greek.

Ooooooooooohhh.. Ok :D

Yale's kinda the odd fish when it comes to GLOs. in the mid 1800s, there were Greek-letter societies for every class. My fraternity (Alpha Sigma Phi) was founded as a sophomore class society at Yale.
It was not unusual for a Yalie of the day to be a member of four different fraternities in the day; he could belong to one in his freshman year, then either go to Alpha Sigma Phi or Kappa Sigma Theta his sophomore year, then Delta Kappa Epsilon or Psi Upsilon his junior year and then to the prestigious secret senior societies such as Skull and Bones and Scroll and Key. |
