BUT...

I LOVE
6 Feet Under;
AUTOPSY;
and I was CRUSHED when it was the last season of OZ...
(Dead people are my thing...don't ask me why--lol)...

The new freak show CARNIVALE...ok, so I watched it thinking that it was going to be "filler" and now I am HOOKED. Ugh...

And, to date myself here...lol...when we finally got cable back in the day in my little stick town in Idaho, and then HBO it was at first only on during weekends...and the cable man had to come and rig your tv line somehow to get it, so there was a plethoria of people stealing it...they would show "Video Jukebox" music videos between movies and one kids program that I never missed...
"OJ'S ALL STARS" (yes, hosted by OJ himself...)

NOT NECESSARILY THE NEWS was a good one too. I wish they would bring that show back.

Ok...enough down Memory Lane for now...

Swan Brooner's Mom
 

I read recently that Swan Brooner's mom died of a heart attack earlier this year. (Swan is now 9 & her little brother is 7.)

i remember not necesarily the news! i thought that was on hbo but i wasn't positive..

also..didn't kids in the hall used to be on hbo (at least in the US..i don't know about canada)? does anyone remember this?

That is rough that Swan and her brothers lost their mom. I didn't remember there being another girl. I do remember her one brother that was in and out of juvenile hall, though.

Yes! KIDS IN THE HALL!!! How could I forget that????

Sex and the City and The Sopranos

I miss it too! I loooooove that show. My ex-roommate auditioned for it (didn't get it though).

I also loved Oz, and I can't beleive nobody bought me the Oz book for my birthday!

LOVE SATC, Sopranos, Oz, and Curb. I've been wanting to see Carnivale. My cousin liked it so i may check it out.

oh, btw, does anyone know when the Soprano's new season comes out? Last year it started in Sept.....i'm confused :(

Love Sex and the City and The Sopranos.. Carmella reminds me sooooo much of my Aunt Nina! (not that Aunt Nina is a mobster's wife.. just the way she feeds everybody when there's a problem, keeps up with everyone in the family, her mannerisms, expressions, etc). Lots of old Italian tradition, which is what I grew up with.

I've tried to watch Carnivale and I just can't get into it. Maybe I'll try again tonight.
