Preferentials

Preferentials is the most formal round of Recruitment. Formal dresses that you would have worn to Prom or Homecoming are good examples of what most people will opt to wear. Simple jewelry may be worn. Formal shoes should also be worn, but remember to bring flip flops to wear between parties.


....wow, this is very formal. Most of the time I read cocktail dress but this makes me think floor length, poofy and, well, very prom like....

Many girls DO wear cocktail dresses for Prom or Homecoming.

Rarely does a PNM wear a huge poofy dress...but it has happened.

College of William and Mary: September 5-14 (on the weekends)

Round 3, Skit Day - Sept. 7
Round 4, Philanthropy Day - Sept. 12
Round 5, Pref Night - Sept. 13
BID DAY!!! Sept. 14!!!!!

SUPER EXCITED!!!

Rotationals- Sept. 6
Philanthropy-Sept. 7
Invitationals- Sept. 12
Preference- Sept. 13
BID DAY- Sept. 14!!!!!

Does anybody know when rush is at the University of British Columbia?

Thanks so much for doing this. A lot of school will be having recruitment around the time I'm at convention Sept 5-7. So the second I get home, I'll have tons to catch up on.

Stephen F. Austin's rush is Aug 28 through Sept. 2. Can't wait!!

Thanks sooooooooooo much for making this list! I was worried that I'd have to go through all of the recruitment threads and see when everybody was rushing and make my own list... but you did all of the work! ;) It is so super-helpful, now I will know who's thread to read when. Thanks!

Recruitment at New Mexico State Univ. is Sept 3 thru Sept. 7.

Recruitment at UT-El Paso is Sept 9, 10, 12, & 13

WHY DOESN'T ANYONE EVER RUSH AT MY SCHOOL???

Biggest sorority system in the country, you would think ONE girl would be on GC.

I hear what you are saying, my school has a pretty big greek system and there are two other girls from my school on here, but no PNM's. :( I want to read their rush stories, but no such luck. Oh well, there are a lot of other PNM's around here to keep me satisfied. I can't wait for rush....err recruitment to start! :)

Northern Arizona University (NAU) begins sorority recruitment on the 20th of August and finishes up with Bid Day on the sunday the 24th I believe...
