bumping this, because I've been to a few sucky parties lately.

Sucky:
*When board games don't turn into drinking games.
*You fall asleep, not because you stayed until 9 am, but because you got bored and fell asleep at 12 am.
*When country or jazz music is being played.
*People from the streets crashing in, trying to start shit.
*Someone pulls out a gun. I haven't witnessed this one (in a party setting), but I hear of it happening once and a while.
*There isn't proper heat or air.

You're being attacked by cicadas

You know a party is good when you break into the electric slide ...and it isn't even "The Electric Slide" that is playing!

....it's packed so tight you didn't mind when someone's hand just rested on your bum because it had nowhere else to go!

...the next morning, you wonder why your walls are blue!(Combination of humidity and people wearing blue jeans pressed into the wall.)

....the campus police arrive and let the party go on for another whole hour!

....gay folks danced with each other without fear of repercussion!

The Worst:

When the DJ was a laptop computer. :(

good: when someone gets hurt

bad: when someone gets hurt

HAHA. So my engineering school was about 80% male, meaning parties were normally 95% male. You know a party is bad when a group of freshmen girls walk in and go "Damn, this is a sausage fest."

when you have someone who thinks he can impress the ladies by beating up someone

Good: When someone breaks out the slip n slide...........like my neighbors have been doing at their last three parties in a one week time period :) Its fun watching them trying it out wasted :)

good: everyone has a beer in their hand- the list for beer pong is long and the music is hot

bad: when you run out of beer and then you have to try to get a sober sister to go and get more- and its always the goody two shoes sisters that are sober so they throw a little fit and you ahve to try to barter with them... i've done all sorts of things to get beer (i promise i'll hook you up witwh that guy you like in your gym class- or i'll clean your room for a week! or my best friend and i have had kitchen duty many a time) lol

no party walking.

no dancing.

combination of the two.

but i love to party walk.

oh yeah....sausage fest.

really, though....some dudes really are just insecure.

Good party=
1) Good people! You came with a few cool friends, and you are meeting more cool people (and maybe a cute boy, but that is not necessary).
2) Cheap. I hate paying lots of money.
3) fun music, and the possibility to dance.
4) You go home having made a friend or a "friend"

haha yeahhh buddy. i've seen that movie a couple times actually.

Get home after a late night, flip on the tv and that thing comes on... The sad part is that I was so sloshed, I was actually following the plot of the movie.

Pretty damn good when....

- A guy breaks part of the staircase going down it multiple times in a wheelchair

- A guy with a girl he hooked up too snaps the wire cables holding the bed up and breaks it while having sex with her... And the bed falls down on the couple below them making out on the futon

- A guy accidentally drinks toilet water while trying to puke

- Somehow mysteriously the couches end up outside on the sidewalk with a case next to it on a sidetable

- You wake up to the lights on, music THUMPING and a huge black girl straddling you screaming "HOLLA! HOLLA!"

Yes.. this was all one night.. and yes it was one hell of a party :D

It's a bad party when you were wasted and STILL thought/remember the party sucked...

Ahhh... then there's the good party gone bad... a sister's BF at about 3:00 AM or so starts yelling at people to leave... (there wasn't even any noise complaints or anything... I guess he was just tired/drunk/ornery or whatever) People kinda ignore him (as 1: it's not even his house and 2: people were still looking for their rides and figuring that stuff out) anyway... so I'm one of those people who's waiting for my ride (who has now disapeared somewhere outside) to show up and my Pi Kapp friend takes my shoe off of my foot just to mess with me and I guess I started chasing after him.. (very juvenile, I know... but hey it was 3 am and we'd both been drinking) to get my shoe back... we were maybe being kinda loud.. but as I said before no noise complaints had been made and no one was trying to sleep... nothing horrible had happened... but he gets all anal and weird and kicks us out !! literally tells us both to leave... which almost starts a fight with the Pi Kapp that took my shoe AND his brothers who think this guy is being a D^&* to their brother and me... so what was a very fun party up to that point turned into a very bad one...
