Well, I found out that Suzanne was at Theta Sigma's recruitment all week!!! Exciting for our chapter members!!

Just got back from GTau. Recruitment starts a week from today!!!
There were 144 pnms signed up so far (6 sororities). Deadline is tomorrow.

I went by the hall and between moving in the dorm and getting ready for rec..they are really pumped!

Heard a new cute song for the first time...yea that makes it new;)

On a side note, I know what shoes I WON'T be wearing, lol..a certain pair of clogs. For some reason, there is just the slightist rise in the carpeted hall floor going into the bathroom..not very noticeable. Fortunately, someone was there for me to grab onto before I fell.. (isn't that what sisters are for??) .ankle hurts a little but should be better tomorrow, lol. Glad I didn' miss the Panhellenic meeting. ;)

COB. Panhellenic increased quota from 29 to 34 after pref... so we feel great about our results.

The girl that I wrote a rec for that I rushed (no pun intended) over to give them the day before Rec. started ended up not going through..no idea why...oh well, lol.

Recruitment was NOT GOOD. :( :mad: I'm waiting to hear the final COB numbers before I post our numbers.

Here's the deal: Quota was 17; 4 out of the 6 houses made quota, we did not, and neither did the other small house on campus. There is talk about lowering total because every sorority had to COB at least 10 to get to total, which is 75. About 150 signed up for formal, about 50 dropped, about 25 were not matched, and of those 25, about 20 were intentional single prefs. Over 40 of the 90 or so that matched were intentional single prefs. The greek advisor said he had never seen anything like it, but this is normal for us. I can't stand deferred to sophomore year recruitment, and I can't stand the mentality on that campus. I'm just so annoyed now. grrr....:mad: :mad: :mad:
