It turns out 2 of the contestants are from the north texas area.

It just came out on the news... Melanie, who already got booted has recieved some other TV offers and is in L.A. reviewing those..

Also Paige is from the north texas area as well which is interesting.

From the previous posts, it seems Paige is going nuts?

Does anyone think Rob will pick her for the geography factor? (while she's not in Houston which is listed as his hometown, it's closer than the others?)

She does seem to have gone off the deep end. Also, did you see in the "next week's preview", Rob seems to snap at her and goes "You're TOO YOUNG for me!!!" Yikes....what a meanie! I think he can sense her desperation for him (she hasn't exactly been subtle about it).

And when she said, "You'll get the farthest with me"....knowing him, he will take it in a sexual context which is ironic, considering her promise ring/celibacy oath to herself...we shall see!

Law Firm Reportedly Fires Dallas Bachelor
Checkered Military Past, Conduct On TV Show Lead To Firing

DALLAS -- Rob Campos, NBC's bachelor on "For Love or Money," has reportedly been fired by the Dallas law firm where he had been employed for 18 months.



Campos' sexual misconduct during his tenure as a Marine came to light earlier in the week and was a factor in the dismissal, according to the firm's Web site.


On the site, the firm's owner, Sanjay Mathur, said Campo's checkered military past as well as "his conduct during the second episode of the TV show" led him to "disassociate our relationship with Mr. Campos."

NBC, which claims it was unaware of the bachelor's sketchy past, will continue to air the show.

Sweet. Knew this guy was shady.

He's going to have a hard time getting another job. All of this shadiness, combined with the personality of a wet mop, do not bode well for his career aspirations.

He's also lacking the charisma and charm to make anything out of being on the show. Even though Joe Millionaire was dumber than a box of rocks, he looked decent and had SOME amount of charm. I foresee an appearance in Playgirl in his future.....

Also, law firms do NOT take well to this sort of publicity. They love their attorneys to be visible in the community, but NOT visible like this. His prospect for future legal employment are low.

Yep, I was thinking the same thing!

If he's lucky, maybe the girl who won the million bucks will share while he is out job hunting :p

Okay, who watched last night? I have to admit, I was kind of glad to see Laura get the boot. She seemed to be smug and thought she was "all that and a bag of chips". Even though Kelly is evil, I kind of like her evil-ness now (sort of like how Kristin in Bachelor III grew on me).

Paige, my word, that girl is like a ga-ga puppydog over Rob "I have the personality of a wet mop" Campos. What is with that guy? I wonder how she'll feel once she learns of his sexual misconduct in the Navy. Oy!

It also looks good for next week, "He knows about the money!" the announcer was saying. How juicy! I can't wait!

Since Rob has the Personality of a "Wet Mop", shouldn't someone wring him out and hang him out to dry?:p Seriously, I saw the show last night. I Like Kelly as well. She's my Favorite. I just want to see what emotion Rob will have when He learned about the money next week.

They crapped all over Paige in the limo. I felt kinda bad, but not really,

In totally unrelated news, the girl who was on Meet My Folks goes to Fla. State.

I agree - I thought they were unnecessarily harsh to her.

Rob took Kelly and Paige on the first double date. In the limo on the way back to the mansion, Kelly and Rob were sort of ribbing Paige about her young age (21), saying "you're barely old enough to drink", etc. etc. Well, suddenly, Rob totally barked (quite sharply actually) at her "YOU'RE TOO YOUNG FOR ME!" It was actually quite harsh.
There was an awkward silence in the limo after that. Paige described in later in a private interview that his words were like a "knife in my heart". (What a meanie he was...sheesh!)

My prediction is that evil Kelly and Erin will be the final two standing. But we'll see......I think blondie (Lauren) will get the boot next week, then Paige.
