I love my Syracuse Triad "big sisters," Alpha Phi and G Phi B :)
I also really admire a lot of the workshops and programming of the GLOs of the Divine Nine. |
I admire ZTA for their dedication to fight breast cancer, and being a ZTA legacy with a mom who was an advisor, I was around ZTAs a lot growing up and they were always so sweet to me!
KA: always true Southern gentleman Phi Mu: some of my best friends are Phi Mu and they are completely classy! Pi Phi: I love your colors! And although, the Chi O symphony is VERY dear to my heart, Alpha Chi also has a beautiful symphony and all of the Alpha Chis that I have met are just sweet hearts. I am impressed by ADPis devotion to scholarship on my campus. |
Phi Delta Theta, Pi Beta Phi & Alpha Delta Pi- Nice Colors
Delta Gamma & Sigma Chi- For their philanthropty efforts. I think its cool that their philanthropy effort is uniform throughout the organization, and every chapter has a Anchor Splash or Derby Days Sigma Chi & Sigma Nu- Cool Badges Phi Mu, Delta Gamma & Delta Delta Delta- Cool symbols (especially the anchor and the trident) |
I like this!
DPhieE's philanthropy! DZ's colors! ADPi for being the pioneers! I've never met any DZ's, ADPi's, PiPhi's or SGRho's but I've been very impressed by their GC members! |
Just a few off the top of my head:
I definately admire both Zeta Tau Alpha & Delta Phi Epsilon for their committment to outstanding philantropies:) I think the badges of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Delta Gamma are beautiful and unique! I like the lamp symbol of Lambda Chi Alpha & Delta Zeta I admire Phi Mu because although I have never met any Phi Mu's in person, the ladies of Phi Mu on GC are a wonderful representation of their organization! I thought it was so sweet when they welcomed me to their 'sister sorority' when I recieved my bid to ADPi :) I also like the lion ;) The men I have met of Lambda Chi Alpha are all so nice & I think they represent their organization well! I have also met some members of Delta Sigma Phi and they were all true gentlemen! |

i love ZTA and pi phi's colors. both are beautiful and different!
i love kappas colors, their key, and their flower. i know its "technically" a fleur-de-lis, but its basically an iris right? and iris is my middle name! i love (and hate! haha) that i still have a kappa and a theta chant in my head from recruitment in november of 2001. kappa kappa gamma, kkg, go kappa gamma...and....im a theta, shes a theta, wouldnt you like to be a theta? thanks for being memorable! hah i love DG's cause i almost couldve been one, and i love their pin! i love how well AGD and alpha phi's are represented here on GC, they always seem like such amazing women! i havent known many AGD's in real life, but the alpha phi's i know are amazing as well. and i dont know many fraternity men (surprise) but we were paired with, and several of ours girls date, KAs and they are true gentlemen! they would practically run to beat us to the doors so they could open them for us. and they are also very involved on our campus, its a blessing to be paired with them, because so many show up to everything! and i love every sorority for their own history. i love going to other chapters websites, and reading about how they began. its fasicnating to me, and theres just not enough literature on every group out there to keep me happy! :D AX love and mine roxydiva |
Ewww everyones badges! How neat. Lets see. I like KD, ADII. Wow Pi Phi and DZ are sooooo neat looking! This is a neat site! Never seen it before! Thanks!

I love Alpha Sigma Tau's open motto: Active, Selfreliant, Trustworthy.
I love how Alpha Kappa Alpha, Zeta Phi Beta, Sigma Gamma Rho, and Delta Sigma Theta all have a strong committment to alumni/graduate membership. Its great that they recognize that women are worthy of joining a sister hood whether they are 18, 38, or 68. I love how Alpha Epsilon Phi only has one badge design, and that every single sister wears an identical badge. There's more, but my brain can't think of them right now :) |
I worked for an Alpha Phi Alpha, and his huge commitment to his fraternity even in his later life was a reflection of the brotherhood (and sisterhood) that I completely admire of the D9.
I love the active pins of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi & Alpha Delta Pi Delta Gamma is an all-around great organization. Beta Theta Pi's Men of Principle Initative ("Our brotherhood aids the individual, builds the Fraternity and strengthens the host academic institution through lifelong devotion to intellectual excellence, high standards of moral conduct and responsible citizenship") and Sigma Phi Epsilon's Balanced Man Program ("Building Balanced Leaders for the World's Communities") are wonderful examples of fraternal excellence. |
The boys: Pi Kappa Phi-- If I were a guy, I'd be a brother! Wonderful, wonderful men! :) Lambda Chi Alpha: you guys are amazing with your dedication to philanthropies that are both fun and help the cause with significant awareness and fund raising!
And the girls! Alpha Xi, Tri-Delta, Chi Omega and KD-- you gave me some of the finest Panhellenic Sisters outside of ADPi, and my life has been enriched by true friendships with them! I look forward to being in a Tri-Delta wedding this fall as a bridesmaid! Pi Phi-- Going through Recruitment, my PM-buddy for the week went Pi Phi, and I have many photos of us combining our hand symbols to form an arrrow-diamond! (Ditto for Tri-Delta-- deltas and diamonds!) Kappa Kappa Gamma: Some of the most loyal and wonderful women in my life, outside of my own sorority! Deep in my heart I love my ADPi... but I love all of my Greek Sisters and I'm so proud to be a part of Greek Life! I am thankful to have been part of a wonderful Greek Community at the University of Central Florida! |
Phi Sigma Sigma - I love the fact that they were specifically founded to be inclusive rather than exclusive. Her founders were way before the times, and it's something that they should be very proud of. I also love their badge. So unique, and so beautiful.
Alpha Phi - I love their colors. Gamma Phi Beta - I love their motto. Delta Gamma - Their colors, and their open motto. It also doesn't hurt that one of my favorite people is a DG alum. Delta Zeta - Their colors and their creed. Also, I have never met a DZ I didn't like. Great women, great sisterhood. |
I love phi mu because my mommy was one and she is pretty great.
I LOVE alpha xi delta's quill (is that what you call it??) I love moons so tri delta and gamma phi beta are close to my heart. and there is just something about a sinfonian that makes me weak....probably cause I practically married one. These guys can make ANYthing special....from poker night to formal they are in it 110%. I also simply love ALL sororities because each one is so unique and gorgeous in it's own way. I am also a jewelry fanatic so badges intrigue me. |
Good Question!
I have the utmost admiration for all GLOs...but a few things stick out:
All of the D-9 for their LIFELONG commitment to service. What a great example they set for us all. AKA especially b/c their colors are the greatest.:D Tri-Delt: I have honestly never met one I didn't like. I find their members, symbols & national organization to be very classy. I found out after I graduated from college that my grandmother was a Tri-Delt (she had not encouraged her children to go Greek because my grandfather didn't approve). Chi O: For their strength-every chapter I've ever come into contact was a strong one...also, the Dallas Alum Chapter's Annual Philanthropy, "Chi Omega Christmas" always gets me in the Christmas spirit! (well, it used to, until I left the metroplex...*sniff*) AGD: Silly, but I love their colors. Lambda Chi Alpha: Always, always gentlemen. Love their colors, their symbols, their brotherhood, their badge. Always wanted to be a Li'l Crescent, but they outlawed li'l sisters at my school my Freshman year...oh well...at least I married one. Alpha Tau Omega: 2 younger brothers are ATO's, and they have both grown into amazing men w/strong ties to their brotherhood. Every ATO I've ever met has strong leadership skills. |
I love how all the DZ's I've ever met have been the sweetest and kindest women I've ever met....plus my best friend since the 2nd grade is a DZ!
I love how all the Lambda Chi's I meet are so passionate about their fraternity and they really represent it well. Same goes for the men of Sigma Tau Gamma! DG's colors and their anchor!!! AXO's and XO's symphonies are beautiful The AKL's, Ag Sigs, Ag Rho's, Delta Sig's, and Kappa Sig's at my school have never been anything but complete and perfect gentlemen and they're also a bunch of fun guys to hang around with! I also hold a special place for the Delts, b/c they're the most fun and sweetest guys ever!!! |
