The kids ranged in age from BABY - 18. . . I'm sorry but either find a babysitter or stay yo azz at home. I went again on Sunday to the 7:30 show and there were just as many kids as before. WTH?!!?! This movie was great with social commentary which is sorely needed. There were a lot of great previews shown as well. I went to the same theater both times and saw different previews.  |
Barbershop 2 cast on today's Oprah ~ 2.10.04:cool:

Guess what I got for y'all. . . . .
Beauty Shop's trailer and release date is 4.1.05 :D http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/beautyshop.html I just peeped it and it looks better than I expected. Keshia Knight Pulliam is in it as well as Lil JJ from Comicview. Lil JJ is like 10 or 11 and a really funny comedian. ETA: The movie's website is up http://www.mgm.com/beautyshop/ and guess who is in the movie, Bryce Wilson, used to be in Groove Theory and was the pizza man in a Toni Braxton video. :D Golden Brooks, Della Reese, Alfre Woodard. . . I can't wait to check it out. |

Comedy Gina Norris (Queen Latifah) is a long way from the 'Barbershop' - now she's in Atlanta making a name for herself at a posh Southern salon with her cutting-edge hairstyles. But when her flamboyant, egotistical boss (Kevin Bacon) takes it one criticism too far, she leaves his salon to open a shop of her own, taking the shampoo girl (Alicia Silverstone) and a few key clients (Andie MacDowell, Mena Suvari) with her. Gina buys a rundown salon and inherits an opinionated group of headstrong stylists (including Alfre Woodard), a colorful clientele, and a sexy upstairs neighbor (Djimon Hounsou). Release Date: March 30th, 2005 (wide). MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sexual material, language and brief drug references. Distributor: MGM Cast and Credits Starring: Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard, Alicia Silverstone  , Andie MacDowell , Della Reese Directed by: Bille Woodruff (Is this his first movie? He started at BET) |

I am hoping that this movie is better than the Cookout and Bringing the House Down. I didn't even bother to see Taxi after The Cookout, I mean it was SO CONTRIBED it was embarrassing. She is going to mess up her acting career, just like she did her music career if she does not step up her game.
