I think I found GC either by a random yahoo search or through greekpages.com.

When I got here I found the Alumnae Honor Initiation thread (now long gone; disappeared the same day as my post count somehow got reset to zero. err!) and thought "No way! *I* want to do the same thing!"

And I've been here ever since... ;)

I found a link to it through an online greek store. Like most have said, I read posts for a while then signed up. I'm hooked too. It beats reading EntertainmentTonight.com when things get slow in the lab.

So i was thinking about this the other day...how did you guys all find GC? I was going to make a thread about this, but I searched and viola!

I found Greek Chat while going through recruitment during my sophomore year. I had finished one of the rounds, and had the cheer that the Alpha Gams did stuck in my head...well some of it...I wanted to know the rest so it was so catchy! So I Googled it, and found this! lol

I was trying to research Greek life as I was going to go through for a second time. I can't remember if I was just looking for Greek life in general or U of O sororities, but google led me here either way.

I really don't know how I found GC....it's just sort of always been there....

One of my sisters told me about it so I checked it out. I stayed because I love the recruitment stories lol.

I was googling something Greeklife related, I think maybe hazing and I found GC that way.

KSigRC was posting on it a few months before I was, and he suggested it to me. 9 years later, I'm still posting...

i tried to go back to my very first post to jog my memory, but alas, it has been 6 years so... yeah.

my join date is 12/5/03, sophomore year of college. i think it may have been a Google search, driven my a mix of not receiving a bid from any of the on-campus NPC/local orgs and being exponentially interested in NPHC orgs off-campus.

I was an inactive KD alumna for about 10 years when I decided I wanted to get involved again. While I was getting in touch with my local AA and waiting for their next event, I thought I'd try to find other KDs online. Somehow I ended up here.

I'll admit I showed up with a bad attitude and I have no idea why. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to shake the bad impression I made and, I guess, continue to make. Maybe my tenth year here will be better. Here's hoping.

I was Googling something about SigEp and the thread in the SigEp forum about either chapter dues or BMP vs. Pledging popped up.
