Lets hear it from the people who wore Keds, Spauldings, Adidas, "WG shoes" (they made it up), Jordache, and shoes from payless or shoe carnival supply in the early 90's. And, about Adidas, we wouldn't get caught dead wearing them in that time period, funny how things change.

I was too young to work then and my parents were too cheap to buy me $100+ tennis shoes. :mad:

SUPPOSEDLY, nike.com now makes Air Force Ones in fraternity colors with the founding year on the tongue. Someone must have known that Greeks will buy anything in their colors or letters.

Probably quite a few greeks working for the company as well....

i'm not sure if nike makes that particular item, but i have seen it before. i think you have to get them custom made somewhere.

I thought Nikes are kind of out anyways. I haven't seen that many people wearing them lately (even "ghetto" people :rolleyes: ). I have not had a pair since I was a Junior in high school.

Nah, Nike is still very popular among the Highschool crowd. In college you see a lot of people that wear other kinds of shoes, boots, that kinda thing. I hardly ever see anyone wearing any kind of tennis shoe, unless they are working out or something.
