In Ft. Lauderdale, FL...
premium is 1.99:eek: the cheapest gas I've seen is 1.69 for regular I almost shed a tear at the pump Monday morning. My lil $5 didn't stretch at all! I was car shopping, but won't be getting my new car until these prices stabalize:cool: |

Regular unleaded gas in Saginaw costs about $1.83 a gallon. Needless to say, we haven't been anywhere that was not necessay for us to be (ie, unscheduled trips to the mall or Wal-Mart or Meijer) and we take the shortest route everywhere. I think that the Shell station down the street from our house is about $1.95 for regular. I think that I'll be taking the bus for a while. I know my brothers in law are crying right now b/c they drive big SUV's and the prices are nothing nice.

Here on the west side of the state (Michigan) regular is averaging around $1.79 while premium is at $1.99
I'ma have to stop trying to be cute and get on the young metro transit bus with everybody else:) |
I'm doing my stretching now and getting out my running shoes.
The news interviewed some gas store attendents and they gave the excuse that they are just getting ready for the war. The prices for gas hasn't gone up for them at all. So can some one explain to me why I have to pay $1.95 a gallon?!? I basically have to use up all my gas to drive around town to find the cheapest gas. Now aint that a blip! ( something my mom used to say...and it always sounded so funny..like really what is a blip? and is that bad?...lol) |

My bill this month is over $100, but it is still less than the previous posters. I have a 1 BR loft (all electric), and I'm hardly home. |

Has your gas prices gone down? I saw gas tonight for $1.49/gallon.

On the utility bill side, my last gas bill was a little over a hundred. So, it's making its way down, thank goodness. I'm not getting my hopes up on the prices staying that low... **reminiscing on the days of yore when gas was 99 cents and I didn't have to worry about a gas bill** |
