2BR, ONE bathroom APARTMENT...JUST ME...my bill was $151.36 last month!!!

Sorry, I've got you beat. My gas bill is $185.27 for my one bedroom apartment. My gas bill is usually high because I keep the temperature on hell, but I was actually shocked at this bill. I called the gas company to make sure it was really my bill and the correct amount.

I'm still waiting for my Exxon bill.

And here I was complaining about Hawaii prices averaging $1.86! I do know for a fact that some stations on the Big Island have gone past $2.00.

Regular unleaded gas in Saginaw costs about $1.83 a gallon. Needless to say, we haven't been anywhere that was not necessay for us to be (ie, unscheduled trips to the mall or Wal-Mart or Meijer) and we take the shortest route everywhere. I think that the Shell station down the street from our house is about $1.95 for regular. I think that I'll be taking the bus for a while. I know my brothers in law are crying right now b/c they drive big SUV's and the prices are nothing nice.

Here on the west side of the state (Michigan) regular is averaging around $1.79 while premium is at $1.99

I'ma have to stop trying to be cute and get on the young metro transit bus with everybody else:)

I'm doing my stretching now and getting out my running shoes.

The news interviewed some gas store attendents and they gave the excuse that they are just getting ready for the war. The prices for gas hasn't gone up for them at all. So can some one explain to me why I have to pay $1.95 a gallon?!? I basically have to use up all my gas to drive around town to find the cheapest gas. Now aint that a blip! ( something my mom used to say...and it always sounded so funny..like really what is a blip? and is that bad?...lol)

When I was in Miami last weekend, the cheapest gas I saw was 1.80 for regular.

I remember Wilona saying that on 'Good Times'. Maybe it's a cross between B**** and Trip?

This chit is funny. That about sums it up!

My bill this month is over $100, but it is still less than the previous posters. I have a 1 BR loft (all electric), and I'm hardly home.

I drive a '95 Geo Metro. It usually takes $8-9 bucks to fill my tank.(I've been known to get a half a tank on $3 when funds were low) :D So why last weekend when I filled my tank, it was $12:eek:  $12 bucks to fill a itty-bitty Geo Metro! What is this world coming to.

For now...one of the gas stations I go to often had gas for $1.59 for midgrade. I was hoping it would still be that way in the afternoon especially b/c a station closer to work had it for 1.66. Luckily, my station was still $1.59 and Mal (my car) needed a fill-up. I was able to fill up for under 15 bucks, which is supposed to be my weekly allocation to gasoline in my budget. :)

On the utility bill side, my last gas bill was a little over a hundred. So, it's making its way down, thank goodness. I'm not getting my hopes up on the prices staying that low...

**reminiscing on the days of yore when gas was 99 cents and I didn't have to worry about a gas bill**
