Zeta is the ONLY way! If I hadn't pledged Zeta, I wouldn't have pledged at all!

But if we never existed I guess I would look in this order:

SGRho
DST
AKA

But it's something about the Sex-Z Blue and Pure White that is SIMPLY IRRESISTABLE...I would have ended up a GDI if Zeta didnt exist...

I wouldn't have joined another sorority. No fakin' No frontin'. Although I have Greek love for all, none of the others impressed me either. I'm like Ideal08, I didn't consider joining a sorority until college. I was a Kappa Diamond (yep back in the day when there were Diamonds & not Sweets), so I guess I would've remained an auxilary member. Or had the vision enough to become the founder of my own sorority, you know, a very sophisticated group of young ladies, with service to... you can fill in the blank. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

Great question MidWest Diva. It would be nice to see responses that totally answered the question.

When I entered college I knew nothing about sororities. The first college I attended did not have any BGLOs. Where I transferred to in my junior year there was AKA and DST. I had no exposure to the other 2 until after I graduated. In my limited time to make a decision my interest was in AKA because of their level of maturity and being active on campus. But I graduated, went to work, got involved in my community, met other people and matured. So, at my current age and mentality, I did independent research and fell in love with SGRho. I made a mature choice at a mature age and it had nothing to do with stepping, calling, partying or anything. I don't step and I seldom "call". Even though I am a "club-a-holic" I seldom go to any Greek parties. I am saying all this to say that at my mature age and having done my research and making a mature decision that is not based on the above -- I would be sincerely interested in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

I too agree with BlueReign--MidWestDiva posed a very interesting question. And to be totally honest, I too had little knowledge about Greeks until I got to college. Although I must say, that when I hit the yard--and any brothers made in the 80s-90s in the Midwest and especially Ohio will agree--Alpha was a dominant, undeniable, intoxicating force. The other frats deserve their credit, but at the time, were leagues behind the brothers. They also embraced diversity and had no standard reputation--I didn't have to be a pretty boy (Kappa), a sports legend (Que) or a book nerd (Sigma). I do happen to be of light complexion, however, and accordingly, was originally approached by Kappa.

I've thought about this long and hard since this topic was first posted. I cannot honestly see myself as anything other than a Delta. While I have the utmost respect for my sister-sorors of AKA, Zeta and SGRho, I cannot honestly say I would be totally comfortable in another sorority. If there was no DST, I would probably be a GDI.

Yeah, you're right. I think he crossed at 9:01pm. He told me you had two sands; and yall were the survivors of a line that was quite large at the start.
