Yes, they do. To even out their color. In Florida, it is nearly inpossible not to have some kind of effects from the sun. I know black people who go on the beach and sunbathe to get a tan. Come to FL, you'll see.

I take it you have to tan as well? Even out that faint heinny of yours....lol

That is a major faux pas in the black community (Asians and hipanics too) where I'm from. Blacks and other minorities who tan are accused of trying to "be white" (though the opposite happens).

I don't go near tanning beds, so my sister keeps telling me I need to use sunless tanner during the winter because I get pretty pale. Has anyone had any good experiences with that stuff? I tried it once, but it didn't make much difference. I think I'll just stick to my BeneFit bronzing powder.
