I heard that Melissa is supposed to be the only one left.
and a long running show. . .they would have to pick complete idiots to fall for that stunt again. . .but THIS IS AMERICA. . .LAND OF THE TAX-FREE AND HOME OF THE BRAVES(SORRY ATLANTA IS IN THE US)!!! |

Also--the good folks at Saturday Night Live must have read your post...they did a series of fake commercials this past Saturday of their own "Joe" series. There was: "Joe Hetero" where it turns out Joe is actually gay (quote: "You girls look FIERCE in those gowns!") "Joe Caucasian" where Joe turns out to be an African American who has been wearing make-up to make him look white the whole time (I won't share the quote from him) "Joe Dude" where Joe turns out to be a woman (complete with "fe-mullet" hair). "Joe Not-A-Serial-Rapist"...this one was disturbing...the guy had this glazed over look.... Actually, that was the funniest part of the show. I think there was one other, but I can't remember.... |
I have to agree, listening to Heidi attempt to speak French was too FUNNY!!! I couldn't stand her. Today she was on some radio show out in California talking about her time was like with Joe M. She looked like such an idiot!
All I want to know is this...I live in Virginia Beach. If Evan was digging ditches with Nacho around here, where!!! I have been single (and looking) and have never seen that FINE man anywhere around this city!!! He can come back here any day!! I'll take the scruffy look. :p |
They have only showed two shows right? Well, i tried to watch it on Monday and I didnt know what was going on. It didnt grab my attention because I thought it was going to be like the bachelor. Maybe because its in europe or something, but it didnt seem like something I would like.
He gives out jewelry instead of "roses" to choose who gets to stay right? |
I'm suing Saturday Night Live. That is all.

I have been preoccupied by BBC America of late and ignored American tv. I will SO be watching this. |

Those Brits are just damn funny. It makes my MONTH when I can catch them showing Blackadder (older British comedy show starring Mr Bean, Rowan Atkinson). |
BBC America Rules!
We actually turn off the phone when Graham Norton is on. Other faves: Keeping Up Appearances, Monarch of the Glen (very very addictive.......) Parkinson, and the usual fodder (Changing Rooms, Ground Force, What Not to Wear).
A priest from our parish originally from England is frustrated that CR and GF are the most frequently aired shows. "People will think that's all we do there, dig in the garden and move furniture!" Couple of funnies: Alan Titchmarsh is my husband's personal hero. Anybody who can make that many wiseacre remarks to a guy who is MUCH bigger than he is and get away with it sans broken bones is a hero in his book. Charlie Dimmock scares him though: former football-player is unsettled by the idea of a woman who could take him in a fair fight. Anyone who's seen Ground Force should see Titchmarsh's interview w/ Parkinson. You won't recognize him in a suit and tie. Great clip about the "stories" he writes. Has anyone seen the Graham Norton clips on www.bbcamerica.com? This guy is a real nut! The best is the "prank call gone wrong". Put your coffee down before watching it. Favorite BBC-A quote: "We're not your best friends, and we will tell you." I am SO glad to know I'm not the only one hooked on this channel!!! Adrienne :D |
How could I forget Monarch of the Glen!
That show is really good too, once you figure out what the hell all those silly Scots are saying, lol. So Graham Norton realllllly makes me want to pack my bags and head off to London every time I see it, I swear. They just have such a GREAT time on that show. I am not a Changing Rooms/Ground Force fan. I don't like Trading Spaces either though, so it's just my complete lack of interest in decorating that is at issue here, lol. I am soooo going to buy the DVD of Coupling: The First season. I think that show is better than Friends. Okay I am such an anglophile it's disgusting. I want to move to London now. But then I would miss Joe Millionaire. Hmm. Dilemma. |

Me too. No one THAT bad, but just a bit of middle class/upper-middle class snobbery that goes around with certain folks. I love em, but they make me laugh. It's either that or bang someone's head against a table, preferably theirs! ETA: We are really not alone: The English Channel |
Wow.. tonights episode was a bit better than the past 2.. I guess because there was more detail and they showed the dates...
I thought it was sooooo hilarious when our 'millionaire' was saying he could tell that Melissa loved the portrait because it looked like her.. and then they showed the shots from the hotel suites and melissa and the other girl saying how much it didn't look like her :p I was actually very surprised he gave Zora the emerald to 'advance to the next round'. I'm really glad he did though. I would have felt really bad if she didn't.. I mean the whole reason she felt so uncomfortable was because she was intimidated by his supposed status...... |
