I'm leaving for home ridiculously early tomorrow morning, and I still need to pack! But I'm looking forward to a wonderful Greek-American Thanksgiving, replete with turkey, stuffing, spanakopita, pastitsio, and moussaka! (Say THAT 10 times fast! ;))

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, EVERYONE!

I dont know if we will be having a thanksgiving dinner though, i guess we will have to look around town for restaurants that serve the traditional thanksgiving dinner on thursday!

Of f the top of my head, any of the big hotels around town have nice restaurants that would be open... Marriott, Menger, Adams Mark, or outside of toen on 1604 - try the Westin LaCantera or Hyatt Hill Country resort. Cant go wrong there.

As for me, its party my ass off with the alums who are coming in town. Were all meeting at Fox & Hound. Then off to Flying Saucer. Lunch at Beths on Thursday. Crabby Jacks on Thursday night. Friday is the UT game. Friday night is Martinis. Saturday is Angelas wedding. That should be fun as her fiancee is a certifable looser. I plan on being really hammered. I'll be Sandra Bullock at the beginning of 28 days. Sunday is liver recooperation. Oh, yeah. I'll try to find some time to have some stuffing. lol. Hey, I havent partied in MONTHS.

The Thanksgiving Song :D :D :D

Adam Sandler

Love to eat turkey
'Cause it's good
Love to eat turkey
Like a good boy should
'Cause it's turkey to eat
So good

Turkey for me
Turkey for you
Let's eat the turkey
In my big brown shoe
Love to eat the turkey
At the table
I once saw a movie
With Betty Grable
Eat that turkey
All night long
Fifty million Elvis fans
Can't be wrong
Turkey lurkey doo and
Turkey lurkey dap
I eat that turkey
Then I take a nap

Thanksgiving is a special night
Jimmy Walker used to say Dynomite
That's right
Turkey with gravy and cranberry
Can't believe the Mets traded Darryl Strawberry
Turkey for you and
Turkey for me
Can't believe Tyson
Gave that girl V.D.

White meat, dark meat
You just can't lose
I fell off my moped
And I got a bruise
Turkey in the oven
And the buns in the toaster
I'll never take down
My Cheryl Tiegs poster
Wrap the turkey up
In aluminum foil
My brother likes to masturbate
With baby oil
Turkey and sweet potato pie
Sammy Davis Jr.
Only had one eye

Turkey for the girls and
Turkey for the boys
My favorite kind of pants
Are corduroys
Gobble gobble goo and
Gobble gobble gickel
I wish turkey
Only cost a nickel
Oh I love turkey on Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!

My meal wouldn't be complete without my mom's special vegetarian "stuffing" (in quotes because it doesn't get stuffed into anything) that she makes just for me. It has apples! Yum!!! Sweet potatoes with walnuts (no marshmallows) are a close second.

KS 361 times i've thought, hey, those t-sips aren't tooo bad :D

Aw, so sweet! Ironically, I went to a TAMUS school for undergrad, and am now at ITTEch for law school! Born and raised to be a "t-sip" by die hard Longhorn parents, but I went to a little school thinking I'd transfer after a year, and ended up loving it & never left!!!

Still have a warm spot in my heart for UT, and find the whole rivalry thing amusing & fun. Brother graduated from UT, and married a lovely Aggie girl he met in law school....talk about a house divided this week. Told my brother that my daughter would be more likely to go to College Station than Austin for college b/c there's no DZ chapter at UT. Priorities, right?

Oh, and Aggies are alright too. :D
