my favorite class by far has been abnormal psychology....so interesting :)

Music of the 60s: War and Peace
I took it because it satisfied the school's USCP requirement and an upper-division G.E. requirement. A friend recommended it to me. It was worth every minute I spent on it. |
I loved my Intro to P.R & P.R Writing classes. Aside from being interesting (its my major), they were taught by one of the best professors. He didn't give us any assignments, no midterm, or cumulative final. He didn't care if we missed a day because he published the notes for that day, and the tests we did have were open notes (straight from the ones he gave us). He didn't even want us to buy the textbooks becuase he said it was a ripoff.
The guy was awesome. He went to U of Iowa, and was a big Greek Life supporter (eventhough he wasn't greek himself). If we had IFC, Panhellenic, or Chapter meeting at 6:00 and his class wasn't to let out until 6:45, he would let us go. |
I had two favorite courses: Lit 100 and Psychology of Sex.
I had two really great professors who really made the classes fun and wacky. The Lit class was a requirement and the pyschology class was a follow up course that I took when considering a psych minor. |
My favorite class was Family and Society. I thought it was great how it explained families and how they are constructed, how relationships work, etc. Its a sociology class and it was great.
|
I took a class called 'Burning Sapphos and Laughing Medusas' that explored erotic poetry and love poetry by placing the first female songwriter (Sappho) in her various historical contexts.
In other words, we read erotic poetry and talked about the significance of realting one's love to a horse. (Yes, there are poems like that.) It was awesome!!! |
My favorite class was a criminology class... we learned how the security business works and we even learned how to write business plans... though I know I'll probably never need to know how to write a plan, it was still very interesting. The teacher was great... he never put me to sleep like most professors had... the class was 2 1/2 hours long and it went by pretty fast.
A human sexuality class was another favorite-- just a lot of video watching and I learned a lot! I also enjoyed a mythology class, but it wasn't because of the class but because of the hot T.A. I had. He reminded me of Michael Vartan! I was in love! |
This summer one of my classes was Psychosexual Adjustment LOL. It was... erm... interesting.
This semester my favorite class is Clinical Psychology. |
There is a tie.
The first was back when I was still in ROTC, a class called Military Science 10 The History of Modern Warfare. It was a really cool class taught by our colonel, who is one of the smartest and nicest people I've ever known. The second was Drama 62 theatre today, taught by Ed EmmanuEl, an award winning playwright and the man who wrote the timeless classic Three Ninja's. Everyday was either a long very embelished story or a movie. the only class that I've ever had 100% attendance. |
Oh there's been many...
This semester my Radio & T.V class will have to take place of my fav :) I mean..we're forced to having a semester long radio show (we can do whatever kind of show we want) and we have to make 2 videos. |
Right now, It's my German class. The professor is so funny! Learning a lot. :)

My favorite classes were:
1. Abnormal Psychology - Besides it being very interesting, I got an A in the course and didn't have to take the final exam. :D :D 2. Psychopathology in Childhood - I think this class may help me when I become a Guidance Counselor. 3. Psychology Practicums I and II - got first-hand experience dealing with people w/ both mental illness and substance abuse. I actually took this course a semester before taking Abnormal Psych. |
Now that i'm back in school, i've got more classes to add to my fave list!
My fave course this semester if my Reference course. Not only am I learning a lot, but the prof is really great and she's interesting. e.g. today she showed 2 video clips o ne of a Kathernie Hepburn movie, "Desk Set" where she plays a librarian - the clip basically showed the stero-type of ref. librarians that still exists today the otehr clip was from the cartoon "bob and margaret" (not sure if u get that in the U.S.) - Bob goes to the library and the librarian really is unhelpful and says there's no longer books in the library, just computers since"if it's not on the internet , you don't need to know it" lol...so funny, and to think there really are ppl who think that way! so that's my new fave! |
One of my favorite classes was a class in Social & Behavioral Sciences called Asian-American issues in America.
|
my two favorite classes ever were Current World Problems (way fun because we were predicting events that happened long before anyone else suspercted them) and Anerican History since the Civil War...i wihs i had time to take history of the 1960's with the guy who taught this class, he was just so great.
