Business casual is the usual dress for the day time. Rose banquet is semi-formal to formal... you'll see everything from church dresses to full length gowns..... 9 out of 10 will be wearing their "little black dress".

Don't mind me ... I spend the 20 minutes each way to/from work being obsessive/compulsive about things like what to wear/when.:) or how recruitment at NMSU is going to go this fall or will we ever get the chance to recolonize at the UofA and if so what kind of housing can we find and how in the world do you handle 800 PNMS ... you'know earth shattering stuff like that.....

BTW .. I'll be one of those wearing their "little black dress" to the Rose Banquet... albet with a silver jacket...

There seems to be time before the Welcome Banquet. I'd like to propose that we meet at the doors of the banquet room at 5pm. That should be a centrally located place. Depending on how many of us there are we can then arrange to meet again elsewhere.

Great idea

I think that's a great idea. I'm assuming that dinner on Saturday will be chapter seating (isn't it always?) but we will have a chance to chat and maybe we can plan to sit together at one of the other meals.

I just got off the phone with one of the collegians riding down with me. She's completely psyched about going. We've both been shoe shopping, dress shopping, and had to work out what the baggage allowance would be, since my car is not terribly large.

Convention was so much fun... Got back this afternoon...

it was great to meet new sisters and see old friends

Now for the big announcement ....

Convention 2005 will be in TUCSON!! So start saving now and

I had fun!!!!! I learned a lot. I met many many many many many wonderful new people. I canot even begin to tell about everything I did and talked about. I will just say: It was an awesome experience, well worth every penny I paid, I WILL go to Tuscon, one way or another.

I am aware of the schedule. I check it everyday. Still waiting for them to post information on the outings.

I was asking more about the rose banquet being gorgeous and semi formal. It is just a little nerve wrecking when it is your first convention. Is the grace still sung as a whole? Is dinner seating done by chapter?

All that good stuff. I know suprises are nice too. I am sure there are things that can't be put into words.
