You might want to review the closure dates for the SDSU chapters. I don’t consider 1995 to be recent. Also, good correction on AEPhi (you initially wrote Pi), you’re not the first person to mix them up and you won’t be the last.

And obviously when expansion opens, all orgs not on campus can present to potentially form a colony. Was just mentioning what could recolonize if chosen to.

Looks like Tri Sigma at Stephens College (MO) has closed. Date unknown, so maybe someone on here will know.

Delta Phi Epsilon is starting a new chapter fall 2023 at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.

Pi Delta Psi will be colonizing at Towson University.

I think there's confusion here and I'm not sure where the 1995 date is coming from. Delta Zeta closed in December 2022, which is very much "recent". Additionally, AEPhi closed in 2014, Sigma Kappa in 2007, and ADPi in 2005.

I think what AZTheta meant was 1990 was the last time a new chapter colonized from scratch (and wasn't recolonized), so it certainly has been a long time since a new chapter joined. (from shadokat's thread)

Tri Sigma is closing their chapter at the University of Missouri. The chapter will continue to operate through the Fall 2023 term but will not recruit new members.

Yikes, first UNLV now Mizzou. I feel like we never hear about these (as an alumna of the organization) and I wonder what is going on. I hope we see some expansion at some point and slow down these closures. :(

I was really curious about what was going on, since KD is using the Tri Sigma house right now and that they were very quiet during recruitment.

Sigma Pi will be returning to Indiana University this fall.
