Yes I went through recruitment last year. I posted it in another thread so maybe you missed that. When I got to school I had no intention of rushing until the first day of classes when the actives were wearing these cute pink shirts that said, "On the road of life there are friends and then there are sisters...Sisters wanted!" and I was like awww I want to be a sister!

I rushed, was invited to 2/5 for invites and did not get preffed. Of course I was bummed, but during the year I held my head up and decided that I was more mature and ready to try again, so here I am! Giving it all I've got

I'll let you know all about my group and where I'll be headed the next two days for parties. Ohhhh I can hardly contain my excitement!!

My Gammi Chi just called to let me know that she won't be at the Panhellenic Welcome because she has class, but I had to ask her a question regarding age since I was reading that soph's would get cut because of age over freshman, and she said that it wouldn't be a problem at all, and that age only comes into place when it's a jr. or sr. going through. Whew, I'm glad I got that all cleared up! I was starting to get all worried!

Good luck tonight, and definately don't worry about age. I know a ton of great girls who got bids as sophmores, and few who did as juniors. I really don't think at Truman that age is as important as at other schools. So go have a great time!

Well my group consists of 2 sophomores (me, and the girl from my group last year who didn't make it) and 6 freshmen. I must say I'm soooo surprised this year compared to last. All the girls last year were flawless. They were so pretty and made me feel so ugly, this year, all the girls are more homlyish. Not many wore makeup at all, which really surprised me. The other soph from my group was being kinda b***y. She just had this rude smirk on her face and was just all "i'm better than you," and I was surprised she seemed so rude tonight. All the freshmen girls want Alpha, but I hope they listened to keeping their mind open! I know I am!

I meet my Gammi Chi around 10 and then I'll be able to post who I'm seeing tommorow night!:D

My Gammi Chi is sooooo cool! She is just so nice and peppy and makes me all excited and calm too! There are only 220 girls going through, last year there were way more!

I'm going to AGD, DZ, SK all in the same order that I did last year. This is all too weird!

I'm soooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!! I leave at 5 pm tommorow and won't be back till 10ish. Whew!
