how could I forget to post Delta Zeta's fantabulous results ?!? I posted it on the UBC recruitment thread (uptown-girl's rush) but somehow forgot to share it with my wonderful GC AGD sisters ...

On Sept. 29th, Delta Zeta at UBC here in Vancouver extended 22 bids (quota plus 2), and I am SOOOO proud to announce that ALL 22 accepted, including ALL 3 legacies (2 in-house!)!!!!!!!!!! :)

YAY DELTA ZETA!!!

That brings membership to 57 wonderful sisters -- the LARGEST CHAPTER AT UBC in decades (ceiling is 40)!! :D Four chapters welcomed 22 members, one welcomed quota (20), with the remaining two chapters welcoming 15 (and DOUBLING IN SIZE) and 8, respectively .... this makes a total of 131 women that found new 'homes' at UBC, which is quite a feat!! There was a story writtien in one of our campus papers about these results (which I will post as soon as I find the link).

Just thought that I would share. :cool:

I believe your Sigma chapter at the University of Illinois made quota! My friend Alex is in that chapter and she said they had an amazing rush! They're an awesome group of girls - Congrats!

YAY for Sigma Chapter! IowaHawkeye, do you know how many new Sigma Squirrels we have? Red and Buff Roses to them!

I forgot to post here that Delta Pi snapped another 2 girls--bringing the new member class up to 20! :D

I'm still waiting to hear from their Chapter Advisor whether we got the additional 3 COBs that we need to bring Delta Pi to total! I'll let you all know as soon as I hear something.

This past semester, we got about 50 through Recruitment and COB, but quota was 86 this year, but we still doubled in size!

Congratulations to the chapter! Improvement needs to be taken step by step, and doubling the chapter's size is a BIG step!
