From what I understand, in some circles gay/lesbian people use the word queer as an attempt to "reclaim" it from its negative connotations.

My school is exactly equal: 4 fraternities, 4 sororities. There used to be 6 frats but two were kicked off.

At Mizzou we have these fraternities:

So I guess that makes 14 sororities and 27 fraternities. For most of events, we are in triads, 2 fraternities and 1 sorority. Most of these houses are big houses so there are always lots more boys than girls, which is fun!

There are also a bunch of other orgs. but I couldn't find a list of them anywhere! :(

At Lehigh University we have 29 Frats and 9 Sororities which is kinda ridiculous. But the male female is around 60/40. There still dont seem to be enough boys to choose from ;)
