I do not like Miami Spice(know the two I am talking about?). They are okay singers, but not great- I can't believe they made it to the final round. I think they were only chosen bc they dress skanky.

When will this show be on again?

You are SOOOOOOOOOOOO right. I was watching the show with my friend and we were both sitting there asking if they're trying to create a new 'American Idol', or if they want a new Britney Spears. Those girls are totally Shakira, Britney, Mandy, Christina (etc., etc., etc.) esk. That really bothered me too.

There was one girl who didn't make it who had such a beautiful and unique voice...the one who the audience had to help while she was singing...and she didn't make it. I think she had WAY more talent than the aptly named 'Miami Spice'.

Looks like the show is going to produce an 'Oops I did it again' American Idol.

I used to think Paula Abdul was an empty headed, no-talent nothing. But now I respect and like her a lot because she is trying to be so nice and encouraging. Plus she isn't afraid to tell Simon to go *&%$ himself for being such a dick.

I really can't believe how bad some of those people are. Why would anyone embarrass themsef like that if they have no look and no talent????? Awful.

I was listening to Howard Stern on the way to work this morning and they were interviewing Simon.

Come on Howard...you can do better than that.

someone PLEASE tell me they saw this mess last night. Girl #1 sang my SONG! i was blowing the phone lines up tryna vote for her, but alas they were busy all night.

i really think SIMON has racial/cultural issues.. Did anyone else think the "chilean kareoke" comment was a little rude?

and WHY was that girl (britney spears/christina aguilera wannabe) JUST barely 17? Her mama needs to be shot.

What was ol' boy with the multicolored locks doing? where was his shirt? how u gon wear a blazer with no shirt? he could have at least went don johnson and wore a lil undershirt or something.

Personally, I really like that girl Ryan Starr. She's gorgeous, has her own funky style, and a great voice. Too bad the judges kinda went off on her choice of songs.

I also adore Chris, the guy who went last. He's fiiiiiine, he's smooth, and like everyone kept saying, he's so cool.

As for who I want to win the third spot.. That's a hard one. I think Kelli has an awesome voice. The judges were way harsh when they basically told her she's not Whitney. I also think Natalie is pretty darn talented for a 17 year old.

Being mean for a moment... Rodesia and No Shirt boy are so out of there.

Man, I really cannot believe Jim was voted into the next round. As mean as it is to say, I really believe the vote had something to do with Simon's comments. I thought it would be Adriel or Chris...they are both more talented.

I am glad about Tamara but the other two ---NO WAY!!! I cannot believe Chris did not MAKE IT!! JIM WAS TERRIBLE AND I TOTALLY AGREED WITH WHAT SIMON SAID LAST NIGHT!!!! I know people hate him but I think his HONESTY is WAY PAST DUE!!!

Point blank, Jim was voted for out of sympathy. He was by no means better than Kelli or Chris. He got sympathy because both of his parents are deaf and what Simon has said to him in the past.


I felt so bad for Kelli. Did anyone notice her crying? :(

I wanted Tamyra, Chris and Kelli to win. Hell, Rhodesia did better than Jim.

I would have voted for Tamyra, Chris, and either Ryan or Kelli. She was crying. She might be the judge's wildcard.

Simon was mean again, but this time to Paula Abdul. It's her birthday and he said that she looked good for someone who is 50. :eek: She just turned 40.

As for Kelli, I thought she had a good voice, but I agree with Simon's statement that it sounded like she was trying to copy Whitney's voice....you have to be original and put your own style into a performance!!!

She was totally DEVESTATED that she didn't get picked last night...did anyone else see her pull away from someone trying to comfort her just as the show cut to commercial at the end?

I totally agree that Jim only made it through because people felt badly for him. As if he was any better than anyone else there who WASN'T picked?!? COMMON!!! He was HORRIBLE on Tuesday. I think he was as shocked as the rest of us.

If I was allowed to vote (apparantly Canadians can't help pick the 'American Idol') I would have voted for Ryan, Tamyra and Natalie. I don't think ANY of the men were good. I agree with Simon's thought that all the girls were better than all the guys. I didn't think Adriel was that great. He doesn't look bad, but that's about it. And did anyone else think Chris was horrible? The entire time he was singing I was anxious to hear how badly Simon would bash him! I couldn't believe he liked him. I thought he sounded like he was singing in a key that was WAY too high.

I'm still in shock about Jim....I can't get over it.
