phisig4eva - No problem. Nothing wrong with expansion, and Cornell is an excellent school. Plus I always had a great time with the Phi Sigma Sigma sisters when I was in college. :)

I hate to burst the bubble about Michigan State, but they would not be open for outside expansion for a long time. Alpha Xi Delta would be the first allowed to recolonize followed by AGD and Phi Mu. If AXiD doesn't recolonize for a long time then everything else is held up - same with AGD. . . .

Well at least we know what we're getting ourselves into. Some schools just won't be able to handle us! ;) Did anyone get a chance to speak with the Director of Extension at Convention???

expansion teams

Just got back from Convention. It was awesome. Anyway, Lynn Coffey mentioned that they are now going to look for collegiates to help serve on the extension teams as we are sometimes able to hear through the grapevine more then CO is about schools wanting to expand. They had a sign up list at Convention if you want to be on the expansion team. I'm sure if you want to be on it all you need to do is email Lynn Coffey or CO and give them your name, chapter, email address, mailing address, and phone numbers and let them know you're interested in being on the expansion committees as a collegiate.

For more good news. I met the women of Central Connecticut Colony. They were great and I gave them our chapter email to get in contact with us since we just went through colonization a year ago. Looks like they will be initiated in October. I do know they are looking for a lot of support and ideas so if any of you are in chapters near them contact their advisor (her info was given in an earlier message in this thread). They said they would love to hear from other chapters.

carolyn
