Life and 33,

Dare I say this, because I am really into metal and old country, but I too am a Outfield fan. And here I thought I was the only one left.........My CD changer on a given day is Merle, Waylon, DAC, Metallica, Disturbed, Slipknot, then Outfield. Play Deep specifically.......

amycat412 03-01-2002 04:10 PM

IMO, the Outfield's Play Deep is definitely one of the all time best CDs around. I've had it since 1985 and am STILL not sick of it!

Not songs for me...albums...I was one of those strange birds who got completely obsessed with an album and every song on it.
  • "Grease" soundtrack (this was my first album back in the vinyl days)
  • Rush - "Exit...Stage Left" ("YYZ," "Red Barchetta")
  • Rush - "Hold Your Fire" (esp. "Time Stand Still," "Mission")
  • Rush - "Presto" (just about every song holds bittersweet memories of high school, most especially the title track)
  • The Outfield - "Play Deep" (all of it! Great memories of this concert at Southern Star Amphitheater in Houston)
  • U2 - "The Joshua Tree" (again, all, but esp. "With Or Without You")
  • Guns 'n' Roses - "Use Your Illusion II" ("Estranged")
  • Yes - "90125" ("Changes")
  • Van Halen - "5150" (esp. "Dreams" and "Love Walks In")
  • REM - the songs "Superman" and "Day Sleeper"
  • Pearl Jam - "Rearview Mirror"
  • U2 - "So Cruel"
  • Rush - "Ceiling Unlimited"
