Not that it's s big deal, but 33 said the chapter name was the same as another sorority. I said their are no chapters at Ole Miss named DZ, DG, KD, SK or Phi Mu since those are the only options if you would think it was another sorority. It's a small difference in what was said. A clarification, if you will.

Way I interpreted it was as AOII Angel did.

Only for example's sake: I bet she saw "Omega Iota Chapter of Phi Mu" (making things up here) and just processed "Omega Iota" in her excitement and nervousness and exhaustion. I don't know what the bid cards say. I'm just speculating. And figuring out an explanation. And I'm also wanting to tell everyone that there's a LOT of quatrefoil fabric available right now (even in black and gold!).

I was being purposefully vague in case she didn't want to out the chapter. Sorry for the confusion...

Oh I am dense. I apologize. I'm editing. ETA: I selected a chapter that isn't there, I'm foggy about these things. To be safe, I made up a chapter. Anyway…………… (guess who I'm imitating? ding ding ding)

I thought she said her daughter joined Phi Mu. Thankfully, she didn't say anything inappropriate about any of the chapters so, I don't think it is bad to acknowledge that she joined the Alpha Delta chapter of Phi Mu. The young lady probably saw the Alpha Delta on her bid day card and it confused her. Easy mistake.

Oh ok. I just went back and reread it and it makes perfect sense.

Just one of those situations where I needed to stop reading it over and over, step away, and come back to it later. Thursday was a very long day for me :p
