Longchamp tote bag

I was at the house today, a girl came into a room I was using, picked up a navy Longchamp bag, started to walk out, and then said, "Oh, wait, is this one mine?" and checked to make sure it was. Then I made a comment about that being a Total Sorority Move.

A girl in Sigma Sigma Rho (in my head I said eep! because people love to call us "erp") with a Longchamp. It was definitely navy!

So not the planner but the ID card/keychain holder thing - I've seen a lot of those in the dining hall.

Not quite, but there's a yard show on Friday (I'm actually not sure what one is - I'm guessing welcome back stepping and chanting?)

I've seen a lot of greek houses - Beta Theta Pi, Fiji and Phi Kappa Sigma are closest to me, then Sigma Chi and Gamma Phi Beta, and then Delta Gamma is on the other side of campus. I like their house the most because of the purple shutters and the large gold anchor on the lawn. Cute!

Too many event tshirt sightings!

A yard show isn't always a welcome back function, but yeah, it's basically stepping, strolling and chanting.

Saw Lilly planner today. The owner said it was "a must-have" for she "would just die" without it.

Recruitment is underway here and I was listening to some freshmen in my hall discuss their experiences:

They seemed to all like KKG. One girl (and her mother) are super geeked about rushing but thinks she flubbed by telling a chapter she was hanging out with some frat guys next weekend. Turns out, the girl's older brother is/was in a fraternity here and is friends with some of the younger brothers of that house. So it wasn't supposed to sound how it did but... well, yeah.

They really loved Theta, but something about the house being really far from campus. The house is nice though. One girl went to middle school with a sister, then realized many of the members there were from her town, which led to finding out her older HS friends had pledged Theta at nearby schools. So, duh, she's thinking SHE should pledge Theta.

Bid Day is the 15th (a Monday? is that normal?). Moral of the story: GC is real, son.

Some random comments about DG and Alpha Phi. One girl wore a bracelet that a few other members in a house were wearing and kept getting mistaken for a sister of the house. It only occurred to her after she left to just take it off to avoid confusion.

All the girls were surprised at how down to earth and "normal" members seemed to be. One said she's not nearly as stressed as she thought she'd be.
