Does anyone know how many pmns are registered at the University of Tennessee?

Just came back from getting dd settled back in the house for spirit week at UF. I heard 1900 registered for recruitment!

My sister said that there are just under 800 girls registered for recruitment which starts Monday at Mississippi State. Mississippi State has 8 chapters.

I don't know exact numbers for UTK, but I know they're slightly ahead of last year. Projecting 70s for pledge classes with current numbers, but I expect that will be high. I'm guessing quota will end up being somewhere between 60-70.

I almost had a coronary withe the 1900 pnms for UF. Right now it is 1,220 with five more days to sign up. That is ahead of last year. Fortunately, we have a much more sane schedule. Round 1 is the 17 & 18th, Round 2 19 & 20th, Round 3 22nd & 23rd with prefs on the 24 and Bid Day the 25th.

By no means was I trying to give anyone a heart attack...maybe I heard wrong but ill ask again when it starts to see what # I get then....bottom line the girls I was with were all very excited and have a LOT of joy from their sorority! I'm sure they will have a fun time and are looking forward to the new schedule. I also know several girls going through so will be interesting to see where they all end up!

Bluepink, I hope I did not offend. Truly not my intent. I have been checking the numbers pretty religiously and knew we were around 1200 on Thursday. When I saw the 1900 in your post, I will admit my heart skipped a beat and I made a phone call. Just want to be prepared!! Sorry if I ruffled feathers. I hope your daughter has a great recruitment. All sorts of rumors going around about possibly capping of numbers, but just rumors. I would hate to see our new member classes get to the 80+ mark but unless a new house comes on soon, that may be where we are headed.

Well, we are now at 1269!! I think I will borrow the Holy Moly from earlier. I know we are not nearly as large as some recruitments but these numbers are very exciting but daunting. I can see lots of adjustments. I just pray the rain stays away.

No didn't offend at all...sorry. I must have zoned out...pretty tired from the move and going all over G'ville but moving into the house is soooooo much easier than the dorms! Hope the rain holds off as well! Keep us posted as my dd tends to get so busy I don't hear much until the end!
