At least my Affenpinscher doesn't need hairspray and can bring in extra income as an Ewok :) |
I love this post:
" 9:23 pm by Geoff Foster Add a Comment Future accounts of the 2013 Westminster Dog how will maintain that the Bull Terrier had little chance of winning once he stopped in the middle of the ring and ate another dog’s poo. Also: Former owner of said poo was always promptly eliminated, albeit with less fanfare." So who was the offender? |

I'm a captive of my allergies - GOTTA love the Bichon!! (Honor, Honor, Honor!!!) |
This is wild - they're doing it "Miss America Style" as a new addition. There will be a Reserve (First Runner Up) AND the True Best In Show!
|
I'm Dead!
Wow, even the pundits were completely wrong!
Congratulations, Sister! |
Go Banana Joe!
|
BANANA JOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Affenpinscher takes Best in Show! |
^At least he'll retire, back in the Netherlands!
|
I'll be honest though, I thought the Old English was taking Best in Show. That dog is gorgeous. But apparently not as awesome as the monkey dog. I think the judge liked his spunk

There is ALWAYS a lot of love for the sheep dogs. I guess the whole big is better bit is so seriously engrained in some people that they can't handle the little guys.
When JR "Special Times Just Right" took BIS in 2001, he was ecstatic! I'm so surprised that there wasn't a nod to him, as JR just passed away recently. :( I have a few friends with JR's descendents! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1v537VjUwyM My Buffy did the Bichon Wave, too! |
2 years in a row for a toy dog victory (Malachy the Pom last year)...looks like you should shrink the Bichon into tiny form!
|
No, the Bichon Frise is fine, just as it is. I wasn't wild about Malachy, either!
Every dog has to have its followers. I follow the cult of the little white fluffy dog! |
I have horrible dog allergies, and I grew up with a cocker- loved her to death, but had to shower thorougly every time I touched her. She was mostly an outdoor dog needless to say.
Our family dog of 13 years was 1/2 bichon and 1/2 lhasa which is a great combo if you have allergies. He was possibly the cutest dog on the planet which was fortunate because other than having the "bichon buzz" he had a totally lhasa personality - which is pretty much horrible. It was like living with Damian from The Omen. Nonetheless, my father and daughter both ADORED that dog. We had to put him to sleep this last summer and neither one of them have quite recovered yet. |
