http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/inarush_2247_1873474373 I know they're a design-your-own sort of thing, but really? Alumni? Of AXiD? This one is available from our online store: http://www.sinfoniastore.org/PDGImag...FULL-thumb.jpg I'd bet most orgs have something like this. |
Ha ha, I noticed that, too...oops for whoever designed the sample for the Website, but hopefully anyone wanting to order one will make sure to spell everything right, and get the gender reference right!

I have an "ASA Alum" sticker on my back window...along with an Oratorio Singers of Charlotte (Charlotte Symphony's choir), a Frenchy and the Punk sticker (cabaret band), Barely Balanced sticker (acrobat troupe) and Alleyn Apprentice Players (Children's troupe from one of the RenFests I work) sticker with their motto - Quando Ominus Flunkus Moritati (BAD Latin for "When all else fails, play dead"). To say I'm eclectic is an understatement. ;)

National gave away stickers that say "KD Alumna" on them for our cars. It is on the back window of my car, but it turns out I can only see it when I'm looking in my rear view window. No one knows it is there. I switched my school alumni license plate frame to a KD one about 10 years ago. Friends love it-- makes my car identifiable in the mass of cars that are identical to mine. Many of us in my Alumnae Chapter have a KD license plate on our car, makes finding the hosting house easier to find when all the cars are parked in front of the same house.

I've been a SigEp alumnus for a year and haven't been in college for a few weeks now, and I damn well won't be shamed out of displaying my letters however I please. I don't have letters on my car right now, though, just because I still haven't decided if I want a sticker or a plate frame. I have my mediocre university on my rear windshield, though, so you bet my awesome GLO will end up back there as well. |
I have a small Euro sticker for each Alpha Xi Delta and Gamma Sigma Sigma on my right bumper. I don't find anything wrong with it. People who aren't familiar with Greek letters or fraternities/sororities probably won't think anything of it, just like how something I don't understand wouldn't register on my radar even if it was right in front of me. Without context, there is often no relevance. So do what you want.
I actually like the chrome letters. Maybe when I trade in my beloved Jeep. |
If I'm coming into town for a Homecoming game and meeting up with fellow Alumnus and the boys then why not. http://www.s4g.com/assets/images/cat...s-cat-icon.jpg

I've been out of school for a very long time, and I have a sorority plate frame on the front, and my alma mater on the back. I've always made sure to remove any sorority stickers from other cars I've had before selling them.

I have this on my car (I don't like stickers).

I have a license plate frame.
Awhile back I saw an Alpha Phi Alpha license plate frame - it had the letters and "65 Year Member" - that's some dedication and life-long pride! |

Actually, I agree with adpiucf. If you want letters on your car, then by all means, do so! I don't put any bumper stickers on my car, but I would consider the chrome letters. |
I had an APO sticker on my old car. I really need to get one for my current car.
