The majority of the Lilly sorority prints have not done justice to the sorority symbols they are representing, imho.

I think my favorites are between Pi Phi and Delta Gamma.
I'm also a little afraid of what Lilly may do to AGD... I think this has the potential to be not so attractive. :( |
This is hysterical!!
That being said, I agree with the others who say they aren't Lilly fans. I think it's an acquired taste, and not one I'm ever going to acquire! Just like I don't get the buzz over Vera Bradley bags...they look like my grandmother's knitting bag...BLECH! :) Quote:

I must be in the minority, I like my organization's print. I was expecting a lavender and maroon monstrosity with scary doves right out of Hitchcock's The Birds. I was pleasantly surprised.

IndianaSigKap - I love our print too! I have the tote and the scarf with me on a business trip. I like that they are something I might pick out and carry just because they're pretty, and they also happen to have our letters on them.

I love my (Theta) print too. It hasn't been well received on these boards, but I am pleased with the way it turned out.
Some, *cough AzTheta* cough, don't like that they added light blue to our black and gold, but I truly believe that they were creating a beautiful sky background for our soaring kites. In addition, the pansies appear almost cloud-like, resulting in an overall effect that blends all of our symbols and colors into one theme for the print. For me, the effect works well. I also appreciate that our letters are in the print, but in a very subtle manner. I have the tote bag and the scarf, and get compliments often. I do understand the frustration of some groups, as there are sorority prints that I think they did well, and others that could have been tweaked a bit. |

I like Alpha Delta Pi's, although I don't own anything in it because it's a bit pricey. I'll probably get the phone case, though.
I think Pi Phi's is my favorite out of all of the prints. I like Kappa Delta's, too. |

I don't hate our print - but there are others I like better - Chi Omega's, Delta Gamma's. I have a theory that it's easier to like other sororities prints better because we're not emotionally attached to the colors and symbols and the meaning behind them. That said, I lost a lot of love for Ms. Pulitzer and her empire some years back. I read in an interview that she didn't think larger women should her clothing. So, I did her the favor of not spending any of my fat money (same exchange rate as the skinny dollar) to support her. |

Wow, if this is true, I am glad I didn't buy! |
I would actually LOVE to see a Tri Sigma print of course, but I have to agree with some who have said the prints get less cute as time goes on.
Though I think purple & pearls & sailboats & violets should be easy to come up with a pattern that is pretty :) |
